Chapter 97 - Leaving the Heaven Basin Secret Realm

Cross reached the top of the cliff and looked around before teleporting to Yun Che. He was inside a small wooden shack in the middle of a bamboo forest. Su Ling'er jumped is shock and fell back on her bum, Cross chuckled and pinched her cheeks.

Yun Che smiled and Cross said "Big brother is going to give you something, okay? Don't move and close your eyes." Su Ling'er slapped her small hands over her eyes and giggled, Cross smiled and laid her down before pointing with his fingers and poking extremely fast 54 times, opening up all her profound entrances.

Yun Che was stunned and said "You!" Cross chuckled and pulled out a little dress before saying "Okay, you can open them now!" Su Ling'er didn't feel her profound entrances open but saw the dress and squealed happily.

Cross looked at Yun Che, who was looking at Ling'er with a sad smile. Cross patted Ling'er head and said "See you later, little Ling'er." Su Ling'er nodded heavily with a big smile, Cross walked to Yun Che and dropped the Dragonscale Armor in his hands before teleporting to the Sky Poison Pearl.

Yun Che looked at the armor and at Ling'er before a warm and gentle smile sprawled across his lips.

Cross appeared in front of Jasmine, who was sitting on the bed and humming. He walked over and said "I found an Evil God seed." Jasmine was surprised and said "Oh? Let me see." Cross said "I didn't take it." Jasmine was confused and said "Why not?"

Cross said "If I give him everything, won't he just be relying on me forever? What happens when he reaches the Divine Realm?" Jasmine was silent, indeed he was right. That's why she sealed her strength. Cross smiled and said "I found something else though."

Jasmine looked over and Cross pulled out a Netherworld Udumbara Flower, Jasmine froze up completely and stuttered "T-T-That's!" Cross smiled "A Netherworld Udumbara Flower." Jasmine took the flower and her eyes watered up before tears escaped them.

She tackled Cross and hugged him, before kissing his lips. Cross eyes widened and he pushed her away before shouting "What are you doing!" Jasmine said "I-You- What?!" Cross touched his lips and stayed silent, Jasmine asked "Are you m-"

Cross cut her off and said "I have a wife." his answer was short but far from sweet. Jasmine trembled and seemed to be about to cry for a different reason this time, she said "But, it's dif-" Cross teleported away, not wanting to talk or see Jasmine at the moment.

Jasmine looked at the, now empty, space on her bed and felt lost. He looked at the flower in her hand in a daze before hugging it and curling up in a ball on her bed, bursting into tears. She didn't mean to make him angry, she was too happy and made a mistake. Though, she couldn't deny to herself that she did like him.

How could she not?

He got almost everything to reconstruct her body by himself! But she didn't care about that anymore. She cared about him! She was scared that he would leave and never come back, she felt awful, she shouldn't have done anything!

Truthfully, this wasn't Jasmine's fault at all. Really the situation was very strange, because Jasmine was born and raised in a polygamous world, while Cross wasn't. Even though some purebloods have harems, they're not common at all and the ones that do are small families trying to make themselves bigger, they would even have their two kids become a couple because Wizard genes don't get messed up like normal peoples' do when they have an incestuous relationship.

Cross sat far, far, away from Jasmine in the Sky Poison Pearl and thought to himself. He felt just as bad as Jasmine, if not worse. He had a wife and kids, they were his entire world. If he lost them he would probably lose his mind, he had no doubts about that.

Was he angry? A little. Did he think it was Jasmine's fault? Not even a little bit. He blamed himself for being so close to her. If he maintained a distance between each other then they wouldn't have had this mess in the first place.

Cross hugged his knees and thought about a lot of things. Did he like Jasmine? He didn't know. The thing he was most worried about was Luna, he felt his heart squeezing in pain at the thought of her heartbroken face. It made him not want to tell her anything, but he had to. It was his wife, not some woman off the streets.

Cross was a big boy, he wasn't a kid that kept secrets from his own wife. Like Luna said a long time ago 'We're a team.' He had to tell her or he would feel even worse, he could even develop a heart demon. That was debatably even worse than having Luna be mad at him for a while.

He felt space outside change and looked up at see they were back in the Heaven Basin Secret Realm, Cross left the Sky Poison Pearl and appeared outside. Yun Che noticed his look was not good and didn't say anything.

2 days passed quickly

Cross left with the group and a loud shout was heard "Junior! Die!" as a flaming palm flew towards them, specifically Yun Che. Cross was not in the mood and waved his hand, the fire disappeared and the man flew to Cross' grasp.

Cross held his neck and said "Hmm. You gave me a good venting outlet. Thank you..." he whistled and Selena flew over Cross said "Find the Burning Heaven Clan. Kill everyone, make the entire area a Death Zone for the rest of time."

Selena sniffed the man and nodded before shooting into the air and growing as she flew off into the distance. Everybody paled and Cross looked at the man who was white in his hands, Cross said emotionlessly "It must not feel good to be the reason your entire clan is wiped from existence eh? Well, in your next life don't get in my way when I'm angry."

Red lighting crackled off Cross' hand and the man screamed in extreme pain, Cross looked at the Burning Heaven group and flicked his finger at them. Their heads all exploded and they fell to the ground.

Cross looked at the man in his hands and said "Too slow..." he crushed the man's neck and grabbed the air above him, revealing the man's soul. Cross kept a straight face and joked "Seems like you won't have a next life, unfortunately." as he tore the soul to shreds and burned the shreds up.

Cross waved and all the rings floated to him before disappearing as he walked away towards Luna. Everybody moved out of the way in fear and Cross looked at Ling Jie saying "I watched you in the secret Realm. You did very good."

Ling Jie gulped and scratched his head as he said "I thought master said he doesn't care whether I live or die?" Cross said "If my disciple died on the first day, wouldn't I look bad? Come." Ling Jie followed him and Cross picked up Luna as he walked away.

Whispers exploded after he left, discussing whether or not Cross was the feared Reaper. Chu Yueli trembled in fear and fell to her knees with a pale face. Chu Yuechan looked at her and said "What's your deal?"

Chu Yueli gulped and said "I... I... I offended the Reaper a year ago.. He.. He said he was going to make the Palace pay dearly!" Chu Yuechan said "Oh." .... and that was it. She finally found out why Cross hates them, her moron sister probably went on her 'If you don't seal your emotions you're worthless' speech. She noticed he had quite the short temper, he just obliterated a sect for basically nothing.

Though it had nothing to do with her. Or anybody else really, if anything they were happy. The Burning Heaven Clan were truly arrogant and despotic, nobody liked them really.

Cross entered his room with Luna, the kids, and Ling Jie. Cross said "Babysit the kids for a bit, Little Jie. I want to talk to my wife." Ling Jie nodded and took the kids, who told him "You're smelly!" Ling Jie turned green, he felt like he wasn't going to have an easy time watching them...

Cross said "We need to talk." Luna smiled gently and said "We do." Cross said directly "I fucked up." Luna was startled and said "What happened?" Cross hesitated for a moment before sighing and explaining what happened, by the end of it he was about to cry.

Luna stared at him, completely speechless. She could tell his tone was extremely remorseful and full of regret, this actually didn't make her sad at all! She was happy! So happy that she almost did a dance! She cupped his cheeks and said happily "It's okay~ I love you~"

Cross was stunned and Luna said "I'll always love you." Cross kissed her and hugged her tightly as he whispered "Thank you, Luna..." Luna froze, she didn't think it was so serious. She felt a bit bad for brushing it off and kissed him as she said "Always baby." Cross smiled and squeezed her tightly before calling Ling Jie back.

Cross sent Luna and the kids back into the castle and smiled at Ling Jie saying "Little Jie, come here. Ling Jie walked over and Cross pointed at Ling Jie's forehead as he said "I'm going to pass you my movement skill. I created it myself." his finger glowed white and a picture of Cross himself doing the movement skill appeared in his mind.

Ling Jie was entranced and Cross smiled as he said "Here Little Jie, eat this." as he took out a 9-Colored Purity Flower. Ling Jie ate the flower and Cross drenched him in a ball of water, cleaning all the impurities that came out of him. There really were a lot of them!

A while later

Ling Jie was noticeably different, he looked like a new man! Taller, more slender, more muscular, and his hair was longer. Cross' hair was currently white and short, while Ling Jie's was pitch black with a white streak and long.

Ling Jie felt the changes in his body and fell to his knees, sincerely knocking his head on the floor and said "Disciple thanks Master!" he didn't know Cross was so awesome, he thought Cross was a Tyrant or Sovereign Realm but now he was unfathomable in his eyes.

Ling Jie was truly happy and felt extremely lucky to have Cross as his master. Just the movement technique was something beyond him! A true Divine Art! Cross patted his head and smiled gently "Little Jie, I'm sorry I have nothing else to give you at the moment. My movement skill was created by myself, I passed you the first three levels as they are completed but the 4th and 5th level aren't finished yet. When I finish them I will give them to you as well."

Ling Jie looked up and said in shock "Master! Did you really create this yourself?!" Cross smiled and nodded "En. I called it 'Void Step'..." he paused for a moment and added "Theoretically if you master the 5th and final stage, you could travel a million miles in a single step... But it's nowhere near finished yet."

Ling Jie was truly shocked, it seemed his underestimated 'Void Step' yet again! Cross asked "Are you comfortable with swords? You have a sword heart and sword intent... Though I can change this for you and you can pick another weapon if you like..."

Ling Jie said "Master, I want to use the sword!" Cross nodded and said "I have a better sword for you to try..." he pulled out some pig iron and some wood before using the 'Void Forge' technique he got from that guy's woman clothes.

Cross used his Void Energy and formed a katana with a sheathe and all. It was pitch black on the outside with a gleaming silver blade. Cross handed it to Ling Jie and said "Try this." Ling Jie held the sword with excitement, he could feel this sword was special! He had never seen a sword like this before!

Ling Jie swung it out and said in shock "So smooth!?" Cross smiled and said "You like it?" Ling Jie nodded excitedly and Cross said "Perhaps you would fell better with two..." he made another one and gave it to Ling Jie.

Ling Jie swung both katana and trembled on the inside as he sheathed them and held them in his hand as he knelt again. Cross smiled and said "I will make a Sword art for you, go practice with those for now." Ling Jie almost cried and said "Master, you don't have to!"

Cross flicked his forehead and said "Am I the master or are you? Go practice, brat!" Ling Jie felt eternally grateful and left the room quickly, Cross rubbed his eyes and smiled softly. Hopefully little Jie could learn at least the first level of Void Step soon.

He didn't have very high hopes, because he knew how complicated the movements were. It looked like a single step but the intricacies behind it were immensely complicated and difficult. He sighed and decided that he would leave Ling Jie to his devices and hope he could do it, if not he would simplify it again.
