We had told them all every thing we had gotten from the old man and what the cave looks like. Then it was time to come up with a plan on how to do this. We had talk for a while to come up with a plan. So far we had not come up with a plan that seamed like it would work out for us. I had planed to sneak out of the conversation and go for a swim. When I got to the lake it was clear and glowing. the light from the moonlight hit the crystals on the lake bed. The fish looked like the where swimming in the sky. The waters where calm. The air was warm. As I walked the water touched my feet and it felt like a nice cool breeze. Swimming in the water felt like the worries and fear I had had been replaced.
"So I see you have came to take a swim for the night." Elder Zekeal spoke from the mouth of the cave. It looked like he was out here to collect water. With a closer look at him it was hard to think or find him as a threat. He had put a bucket on to the string and lowered it in to the river. He stood there with a cane and a hunched back. In this low light he looked thin. but I was a good distance away. "Elder Why are you out here and living in the cave and not above it or close to it." I said.
"This water is very kind to those with good intentions. Even the fish leave you alone. The Crystal bed of this lake has a weird effect on the kaiju." He said looking at it with a smile, "The water seams to be at easy to night. It seems to have no effect on you. Normally anyone who went in to the water would have been cursed by now."
"I want some of my questions answered. Is that okay by you?" I spoke softly. Even now I felt compelled to ask. "What are the questions that need an answer? If you want to ask just ask." He spoke with a dying voice. I could have seen why the elder was out casted by the villagers. His voice stars out strong willed and full of life, but it slowly comes down like that of a fire left unoccupied.
