Her question made everyone speechless as they were not expecting her in the house at that time.
"Oh sharon you are here....." Shaw spoke trying to avoid her question.
"Yes I am here and I heard my name "mentioned in the same sentence as a bet, so "I need one of you to explain to me what is happening here."
"I don't understand what you are saying, we were only scolding Dane here for trailing you to the cathedral. We didn't say anything about a bet" Shaw replied nervously while Hale and Dane were completely speechless. The ease at which Shaw was lying was baffling to them but they could say nothing as he was saving their assess.
"Shaw nice try, but you should not continue lying to me. I have been here hearing your conversation with Dane and Hale" "Unfortunately I heard everything from the beginning to the end. You guys made a bet on who was going to end up marrying me right? I heard everything and I mad at all of you."
