"Sharon!! Sharon!!" Hale calles out again as he moves closer to where they were on the grass unknowingly.
Sharon was confused on what to do.
"What do we do?"she whispers to Dane as she hopes Hale doesn't come near. The darkness in the garden is enough to hide anyone but when your eyes get use to the darkness you could make form out of it.
"Just lie down quietly he can't see us" Dane trying said wrapping his hands around her cursing Hale under his breath for interrupting them.
Hale could swear he heard soft moans when he entered the garden. He assumed Sharon could have been masturbating.
"Why masturbate when I can help you" Hale said to himself with a smirk. He continues calling out her name hoping she will have the courage to answer him.
"Maybe she is embarrassed about it" Hale said standing very close to where Sharon and Dane were lying down.
At this point both their hearts were in their mouth as they both prayed silently for Hale not to come closer for different reasons.
Dane didn't want to give his brothers the idea he was already one step ahead of them while Sharon wasn't comfortable with being seen at such odd hours in such a place with Dane. She hasn't really figure out if she likes any of the Lancaster brothers and didn't want to spoil her chances.
With time Hale goes to sit down at the other end of the garden where he first saw her hoping she will come out when she feels he was no longer around.
They both watched as Hale walks away through the shadows.
"Is he gone?" Sharon asked in whispers.
"I am not sure he could be anywhere in the garden" Dane said trying to make form of the dark garden.
"We should go inside I can't risk being seen now like this" Dane said hoping she will agree and not be stubborn.
"I agree with you" Sharon said reluctantly "but we should move out at different time."
"You take the front entrance while I take the back" Hale can only see one of us from what ever side he is Dane said nervously..
"Goodnight Dane I hope we can continue this tomorrow" Sharon said with a smile.
"Probably when I come back from the police station" he said trying to leave when Sharon held him by the hand.
"Police station? Why is that?"She asked curiously
"Oh its nothing dad just wants me to file a case about the attack and I will be going with Shaw. What I don't understand is why he doesn't want us to report that we apprehended one of them."
"He said that?" Sharon asked thinking hard about why they should hide that fact. She remembers immediately she has not been able to confront Shaw on this same issue
"I guess he has his reasons Sharon said let's go our different ways before someone see us" here she added.
"That reminds me" Dane said holding her back "About the incident, you were responsible for saving us. When did you learn how to shoot like that?"
"Like I told your dad I really don't know what came over me" she said moving uneasily. She knew it was time to go before Dane asks her more questions.
"You know you can tell me anything right?" Dane asks one more time before releasing her
"I know but trust me I have nothing to hide its something I cannot explain myself."
We will talk some other time as she walks away to take the front entrance.
"I knew you were still inside" She hears a voice say immediately she steps out making her freeze She was hoping she won't be the one Hale would see. She turned around to see a smiling Hale with two cups of coffee.
"I brought this for you he said handing one over to her since you were cold but I couldn't find you. Where were you?" He asked suspiciously
"I was.... I was... She stammered lost on what to say.
"I was playing a game of hide and seek with you. She finally blurted out with a fake smile . but you couldn't play along and gave up easily when you didn't see me" she said trying to convice him with her smiles.
Hale walks closer to her and whispers in her ears "
Don't worry your secrets are safe with me" as he walks away
