The army continued their journey north. 3 hours of marching passed in an instant and they reached yet another castle. Defended by a small force of just 20 men, but those brave men were ready to fight and there was no sign of them throwing the towel.
In an instant, Frigs told his soldiers and the castle's defenders were overwhelmed in just 5 minutes. The lord of the castle was found dead, hanged with a rope to a pole on top of a keep, blood still dripping out from the hole in his stomach.
"Such a sight…" Frigs muttered.
Isam chuckled, "I heard he's a bad lord. He tried to fight on the wall but after just a wound, he ran from the fight and committed suicide,"
At the basement of the castle, Arthur was notified by a soldier of his about an old wooden door. He made his way to it to investigate what's behind it. Sword in the hand of his and his soldiers as he opened the creaky wooden door.
