The war was over.
With the head of the king detached from his head, soldiers from all around the country dropped their swords and surrendered themselves. It was a huge success for the human side as the war ended with fewer casualties and sooner than later.
However, there are some soldiers that are willing to fight to their death, mainly assassins and guerilla fighter. The fighting continued a few more days but with the support growing for the humans by the dark elven civilians, it soon ended with them surrendering as well.
Most of the soldiers, assassins and guerilla fighters were freed without any consequences but some were unlucky enough for their reputation and taken as slaves.
