The first category is soldiers, the second is Non-commissioned officers, then Warrant officers, Junior commissioned officers, Senior commissioned officer and the last, Generals.
The soldier's category consists of three ranks, PRIVATE SECOND CLASS, this is the lowest rank amongst them all. PRIVATE FIRST CLASS, held by junior enlisted personnel. The last is SUPERIOR PRIVATE, basically the highest among the soldiers' category.
Moving on to the Non-commissioned officers that includes CORPORAL that I lack knowledge about. SERGEANT, which is used in many polices or guards forces across the empire, the origins of the world are from the old language (Latin) Serviens, which means "One who serves". Now the last that falls under this category is the STAFF SERGEANT that is also used in polices or guards forces, higher in rank that of a SERGEANT.
