Chapter 1 - Prologue

As the gust of wind blew the window curtains, an alluring figure was glimpsing amidst the fluttering curtains laying on a rocking chair at the balcony.

Anger, self-pitying, worries, sadness, these various types of emotions were playing from time to time on her delicate milky Indian contrast face. These emotions were adding another extra layer of beauty to her face. If she was born in the medieval era, she might become another Helen and the cause of the destruction of numerous cities and kingdoms. Yet, it seemed this world-destroying beauty was waiting for someone eagerly.

She was frequently dialing an average-looking Indian man on her communication device. Sometimes she was dialing a few other people too. Probably they were that average-looking man's colleagues, friends, or relatives. But no one was answering her calls. And every time she heard a car sound, she would stand up and look down on the street from the balcony to see if that person returned or not.

This situation went on for a long time. A car sound floated to her ear as before, and she repeated her actions. But this time, the car didn't pass by, it stopped right in front of her house.

A few seconds later, that average-looking man from the communication device profile came out of the car. And a sweet melodious voice floating in the air, "Take care, Azalias. See you tomorrow."

Azalias took off his long coat and folded it in his arm, and waved his hand toward the driver, "You also take care, Nikki. See you tomorrow."

Seeing this, the beautiful, alluring lady gripped her fist hard, turned around, and stormed away toward the kitchen throughout the living room while screaming, "He comes now! He comes now! And also with that willy bitch. He was with that willy bitch all this time! How dare he come now! And... and... also... that willy bitch!"

Firstly she was worried about him. They were supposed to have a movie date tonight, and he was late 3 hours. Was he late because of work-related trouble? But seeing him with Nikki, her worries replaced with anger and jealousy.

She grabbed a knife and started venting her anger upon the vegetables on the cutting board while muttering and cursing furiously.

A few minutes later, the calling bell rang out, but she didn't pay any heed toward that. She went to the living room, took out a headphone, put it on her ears, and kept listening to the music with high volumes.

Her furious yet smooth actions with poor vegetables in the rhythm of music turned into a unique art that could please one's eyes. But only if one looked at her eyes, they would feel the burning flame of rage that could crisp one's heart.

The calling bell kept ringing for like 30-40 minutes, and she kept ignoring it.

A while later, Azalias heaved a long weary sigh and sat down on the floor leaning on the door spreading his legs while smiling bitterly, and muttered, "Today, I have pissed her off greatly."

On the other hand, when not hearing the calling bell's sound for a while, the alluring lady in the kitchen knitted her brows and stormed her way to the main door.

Without checking if there was anyone or not, she furiously opened the door, and Azalias fell on the floor, hitting the back of his head.

"Ouch!" He instantly stood up and scratched the back of his head while smiling worriedly. Previously, He was racking his brain out how he could pacify his angry wife. He planned many things and ways in his head. But seeing her alluring pretty face yet scary look, he forgot how he should respond. He became clumsy and was standing there like a guilty kid who didn't know what to do while facing the scary principal.

But his wife saw more than this state of his. She saw how much weary he was, the bloodstains on his white shirt, which was still there even after washing off. In just one glance, she found out he had a troublesome day.

Without venting her anger and saying a word, she turned around and went straight to the bathroom and prepared a hot bath for him.

After preparing the hot bath, she returned to the living room, and giving a meaningful yet scary glare to her husband, strode to the kitchen again.

Azalias was clueless about what he should do and rooted there for a while. She heaved a heavy sigh from the kitchen and sternly told him, "Go, have a bath. Then have dinner."

"Lil fairy, I... Thank you."

"Hmm."

After a few seconds, he let off his tired body fell on the couch, and began removing his clothes.

"You are stinking the couch." A stern, authoritative voice came floating from the kitchen.

"Please let me rest a bit first." He put his head on the couch handle and stared toward the beautiful lady. From this position, he could see her directly.

He kept looking at her and her elegant smooth actions for a long time. The beautiful lady was aware of his unrestrained staring at her and couldn't help but be pleased in her heart. She asked in a little bit low and gentle voice, "What are you looking at?"

"Why are you not mad at me today?"

The corners of her lips turned up in a smile, one so bright which could lit up his day. The way her rosy lips curled up, leaving her pearly white teeth to be on display, was enough to tug at the strings of his heart. As she said in an enchanting voice, "You know, the water is getting cold."

This one simple line turned into a tonic for his tiredness. He felt so much refreshed that he can fight 3-4 rounds battles in the bed easily. Her one smile was enough for him to wash away all sorrows, tiredness, anger. She was like a born enchantress, could adjust her mood according to the situation, like today. He loved this nature of her the most. The enchanting beauty of her is just a bonus virtue.
