You watch them for an hour or so and then have to go to the bathroom. After getting back you stand in the hallway watching them.
Smiling, you start to copy their dances. It's a lot harder than they make it look, but you manage to perform a little of it. You chose to follow Chan's moves, he was who you were looking at anyway.
The moves seem to flow a little with you and you cant help smiling at how dancing makes you feel. You haven't ever tired it before. You never thought you were the dancing type, never having the motivation. But here you are. And it is something that you wouldn't have expected to be so fun.
Soon enough you are able to match the dance they are practicing and though you arent near as good as they are, you find yourself doing pretty good.
You are so focused on dancing and the music that you don't notice when the shoes in the practice room stop squeaking.
"Y/n?"
You're startled by the Australian voice and stumble backward onto the ground. You look up, bewildered.
Chan moves over to help you up, a hint of a smile under his concerned look.
"Thank you..." You mumble softly, tucking a hair behind your ear.
"Were...were you dancing?" Chan asks, his hand still on your arm. "I've never seen you dance before."
Embaressed, you tilt your head down. "I wasn't dancing. No I was..."
Chan takes his finger and puts it under your chin, making you look at him. Your cheeks burn but he is smiling.
"Come on love, don't be embarrassed. I dance, why can't you?" He chuckles and glances back at the practice room as if debating something.
"Chan?" Your heart is pounding out of your chest and you're afraid he might hear it.
He turns to look at you. "Mm?"
You glance at his lips without thinking. Realizing he caught it, you quickly pull away from him. You turn your head away from him.
Trying to break the mood you come up with an idea. "I was dancing...and I found I really like it, but I'm not very good. Do you think you guys could teach me to dance?"
Chan's emotions look like they are all over the place, his face shows it. "I bet we'd all agree to that." He avoids looking at you and turns back to the practice room.
"Come on back in. We were wondering why you hadn't come back."
You nod and follow him back inside the practice room, sitting in the back again. You watch Chan as he runs his finger over his lips. He glances at you and in sync, you both quickly look away.
