Silence engulfs us for a short period of time. My mouth was dry, and I needed a drink, which meant I had to get out from their reach. I try to pry Thesis' hands from my stomach, but he only growls, pulling me to his chest. I glance to Theros for help. He chuckles before jerking Thesis' hands away.
As soon as there's an opening, I dive to the floor, easing my balance. There was a snarl before a snap of animalistic teeth. My eyes find Theros pinned down on my bed by a large animal.
It's claws catch my attention first; they're long and sharp, yet thick. They looked as if they could slice through Theros. His thick, furry arms link to his massive chest that moves up and down at a rapid place. The beast sits on Theros' stomach as he searches the room for something. The beast's eyes were a blue mixed with silver, darkening when they find me. My breath gets caught in my throat as my eyes try to search for the white vines infused with blue leaves.
Thesis' beast rises from Theros and steps into the floor after me. I spot the blue and white wand, darting for it before Thesis could catch me. His claws catch hold of my robe and I quickly throw it off, rushing to reach my wand. As soon as it touched my fingertips, the blue sparks ignited from the very tip. Defensively, I point it towards Thesis' beast, glaring at him.
I take the first words. "Stand down, Thesis." My eyes narrow at him when he snarls at my wand.
The beast snaps its jaws, frustrated with this predicament. His claws reach out for me, but I quickly zap them before they could touch me. Thesis snarls again, baring his teeth.
"Don't try to intimidate me, Thesis. Don't touch me with your claws until I can trust you," I seethed, raising my wand higher, ready to strike at any moment. Thesis' beast glances from me to my magic twice before closing his muzzle.
Claws transform into hands in the blink of an eye, and I spot those cerulean blue pearls that belong to my Thesis again. I lower my magic stick, observing Thesis' state. Theros movement catches me off guard. My eyes flicker to him as he hands me a shirt and jeans from my closet. Glaring at Thesis, I watch his eyes follow my every moment as I take the clothes from Theros.
Trusting Theros, I keep my eyes on Thesis. When the clothes are in my hand, I drop my wand onto the vanity and pulled on the shirt. I didn't care if they saw everything, it was inevitable anyway. I dug into my tall dresser next to the vanity and slipped on some underwear. My eyes met Thesis' as I begin to wear the jeans.
We stare at each other for a moment—at least until the jeans are on my hips. "I'm sorry, mah sweet," he softly apologizes as I button my jeans. Thesis lowers his gaze, quietly holding the shame in his heart.
Grabbing my wand, I hand it over to Theros, who gives me a look of uncertainty. A smile eases onto my lips as I leave the wand with him and walk to Thesis. My hand reaches for his, and I hold it to my chest. I catch his gaze, lowering my head to do so, and Thesis only shows regret and anger.
I frown at his emotions. "Hey," I touch his cheek, capturing his attention. "Stop it. I know it was instinctual, but it wasn't like you were hunting for the kill. Just don't let it happen again," I assure him, explaining how I understood and expressed how I wanted him to act.
I smile, bestowing a gentle kiss to his cheek and stepping away. "Now," I speak to the two of them, "let's have breakfast and we can straighten a few things out. I know I'm confused as hell," I laugh. I spot Thesis smile, then smile myself to the two wolves before leading the way to the kitchen.
Both of them quickly file after me as they stomp down the steps while the boards creak under their weight. "Be careful not to fall through," I comment, smirking to myself as they followed me down the steps. I heard two faint chuckles before walking through the entryway of the kitchen.
"Do you still have my wand, Theros?" I call, turning to find the two standing there. Smiling, Theros holds out my wand. "Thank you. You to may sit," I motion to the bar connecting the living room and the kitchen. The two wolves find themselves a spot as I gather my wits.
"Any requests?" I offer, hoping they wouldn't ask for anything too complicated.
Theros and Thesis take a glance at each other before smiling widely at me. "How 'bout sum meat?" Theros suggests.
Thesis offers a warm smile. "Steak, p'ease." He winks.
A bubble of laughter surfaces from my chest and I nod, turning to fullfil their requests. I grabbed clean plates and place two in front of them and one in front of me. They waited silently, probably wondering what was supposed to happen next.
I stood before them, backing up a bit to show off. Raising my wand, I call on my magic. "Da mihi essent optatissima prandium!" A flash of blue light glows on all three plates, and then suddenly, it was replaced with fresh food.
I smiled smugly when I spot the wolves' eyes widen in shock as the sizzling meat appeared before them. My eyes dart to the grapes and I grab two of the green ones and munched on them as the wolves began to thank me. I waved off their appraisal and enjoyed my breakfast.
As I reached for warm crossant, Thesis speaks up. "What happened this morning?"
So, I made breakfast late?
