Chapter 88 - Movie: Pokemon 4ever

On top of a very high mountain, packed with dense forest consisting of tall and thick trees, sitting on a tree branch which had the best view of the whole area, Kota watched as a boat sailed on a very long river.

The blazing sun shone brightly on the forest, luminating the greenery and woods.

Kota swung his legs and kept staring at the boat. He wore a loose cotton white t-shirt with long sleeves and a black cargo trouser with many pockets.

Woosh!

With a small gust of wind, Suicune appeared on the same branch. Kota turned to look at him and then back at the boat.

"You showed yourself."

Kota muttered. Suicune didn't react, he jumped down the tree and settled on the ground together with Larvitar and Charizard.

They have been here since a few hours ago, mainly because Kota had to wait for Ash and his friends.

'Should I catch a Celebi?'

He thought, yet didn't wish to. From his memories he remembered how weak a Celebi was in battle, even if it was a mythical pokemon.

The only good ability it had was definitely the power to travel in the past and future.

"But what's the use of traveling back in the past or going to the future for me? I am already in the most perfect time."

Kota looked up in the sky above the boat where Ash, Misty and Brock were sailing. It was a huge hang glider powered by paddling.

Jessie, James, and Meowth.

"I wonder when they will learn…"

He climbed down the tree and recalled Suicune and Larvitar in their pokeballs.

"Let's go."

Hopping on Charizard's back, they then launched up in the air and flew in the sky.

The destination was the forest where Celebi would arrive after forty years of time travel with the boy named Sam.

Ash, as well as the others, have reached a waterfall along the river. Unable to climb it, Misty asked what they'll do.

Mr. White, the boat owner, responded with a quick transformation of his craft, turning it from a boat into a small blimp in a matter of seconds, and floating up, over the waterfall.

As they floated over the waterfall, they were greeted with a beautiful village entirely of tree houses.

Arborville, a village near the forest where the 'Lake of Life' was located.

The scenes unfold similarly to how it happened in the movie. They continued on, they arrived at the same place that Sam did forty years before, and were asked by Towa, who had now aged considerably if they were going into the forest to look for pokemon.

Ash replied that he would and soon the old woman's granddaughter, Diana, showed up, who Brock promptly flirts on.

Ash ignored Towa's advice, and went headlong into the forest, leaving Misty to pull Brock away from Diana, as she always did.

The trio had gotten into the deep woods, the trees began to glow blue, something that happened just before Celebi vanished into the future with Sam.

At the same place he vanished from, in front of Celebi's shrine, Sam reappeared just as Ash, Misty, and Brock ran up.

Sam unconsciously laid there and Ash, worried about him, decided to take him back to Towa's house.

While this was happening, in Arborville, Kota arrived with Charizard. Looking around, all he saw was tree houses and not a single road.

"Chaa…"

It seemed that Charizard heard something, he pointed towards the forest at the end of the Arborville village, exactly where Kota was planning to go.

"Looks like Celebi has returned."

He whispered. Just as they had started walking towards the forest, a voice called out to him.

"Who are you?"

An old female voice. Kota looked up and saw Towa, the old woman, and her granddaughter, Diana.

They were looking at him with curious expressions. It was because not many people knew about this village, and people rarely visited.

"I came to see the forest."

Kota responded with simple words and advanced towards the forest with Charizard, behind, Towa and Diana showed weird looks.

* * *

After entering the forest through the large fallen tree truck, Kota scanned the surroundings with his bracelet.

Energy readings displayed before him, all indicating that there was a source to this energy and currently was in a weak state.

This energy probably belonged to Celebi.

"There's an ominous feeling in this forest. Gives chills."

He leaped up on a tree and climbed it. Recalling Charizard back in his pokeball, he dashed through the tree branches just like how ninjas did but without being professional in it.

Not long after his entry in the deep forest, he found Ash, Misty, Brock and Sam heading towards Arborville.

Sam was being carried by Ash on his back. Kota wondered, wasn't Brock the oldest and strongest yet he let Ash carry Sam.

Well, it could be because Sam wasn't a girl.

Hidden in the green leaves on a tree branch, Kota watched the group quickly pass by the tree he was on.

When they were out of his sight, he rushed towards his destination. It was a long open path, nothing about it appeared mysterious or special.

It wasn't even noticeable. But Kota knew that this path must be taken for one to go to the center of the forest.

And this path was taken by Iron-Masked Marauder, a high-ranking member of Team Rocket, in his conquest to capture Celebi.

Measuring up two trees, on the opposite sides of the path, he pulled out two flat devices almost the size of buttons and stuck them on the tree trunks.

These devices were hacking gadgets, they could scan and hack any electronic machines.

What Kota was most interested in, was in the machine controlled by Iron-Masked Marauder. It was a huge four-legged mecha.

He knew that with enough modifications it would be unstoppable and installing heavy arms was just crazy.

Tit!

He activated the devices. As soon as a heavy mechanical object, powered by electricity passes by, these two will stick on it. It would take at least an hour to bypass the security and start hacking into the machine.

White light flashed and Suicune appeared beside Kota.

"Take me to the Lake of Life."

Kota ordered. Suicune was slightly worried, but nodded his head and led Kota towards the center of the forest.

It took them a few hours before Kota noticed the rise in fog. As he neared the center, the fog almost covered his vision.

"Zaaaa!"

"Pahhaa!"

"Isssss!"

Various pokemon noises were heard. They were very hostile but due to Suicune's presence none attacked or came before Kota.

They should be grateful for, as Kota had pokemon, strong enough to destroy the entire forest in a day and leave behind ashes.

Soon his vision cleared, a large lake with thick trees growing in it showed itself. The lake was very clear, one could see the bottom and all the water pokemon in it.

From the information he was able to gather, the Lake of Life had powers to give life or energy to an exhausted pokemon.

As long as the pokemon wasn't dead, it could be saved as long as it swims in the lake, the information said.

From another pocket he took out a very small glass tube, enclosed by a plastic lid. He then dipped the tube in the lake and collected some water from it.

He wanted answers on how this lake could provide natural energy to pokemon. If he got what he wanted, he might be able to use the lake water for pokemon growth or improvement.

"I should take a swim as well. Come out, everyone."

Saying so, Kota took out the pokeballs from his waist belt and called out all his pokemon.

Charizard, Larvitar, Aerodactyl, Furret and Croconaw, looked around their surrounding trees and the large lake.

The first one to jump in the lake was Larvitar. He felt a burst of energy enter his body through the skin from the lake water. Larvitar clapped the water surface and splashed water at Kota.

"Hey hey! At least let me take off my clothes."

Kota backed and undressed, leaving his underwear on him. Years of working out showed results, his body was shredded and bulk.

Considering his height, his muscle weight and size were almost perfect for him.

Ripple…

The water rippled as his foot stepped on the water surface. He thought that the water was cold after seeing the foggy and dark environment, but it was warm.

"Haaaah…"

Exhaling a deep breath, he fully submerged himself in the water. His pokemon were the same, they also got in the water.

Charizard scrubbed his tough skin in the water and sat comfortably on the shallow bottom. Most fire type pokemon wouldn't dare to go in the water but Kota's Charizard was different.

Charizard still remembered, once he almost died in the water because Kota kept kicking him in. Fortunately he somehow survived that experience and his resistance to water increased slightly.

It was completely impossible for fire type pokemon to be resistant or immune to water or water attacks. Charizard included.

Kota helped Charizard to withstand water or water attacks more than his other kind. That was all.

In the dark forest and foggy veil, Kota relaxed his mind and let himself be one with nature.
