"Are we ready?"
Asked Kota, he glanced behind him to see Gengar picking up a bag.
"Gengar!"
Nodding his head, Gengar floated above Kota and relaxed himself.
"Then what are we even waiting for?"
Kota put on a black coloured hat and tied his shoelaces and stepped out of the room.
*Clank*
The elevator door opened and Kota moved in, there were already two other people.
A man in his thirties and a boy about six years old, a father and son duo.
"I know you! Aren't you the winner of the Indigo League? The Monster!"
Seeing Kota' face from the side, it took a second for the kid to identify him.
"Really?"
The man was a little surprised but as Kota turned around and faced them, he had his eyes wide.
"I guess you got the right person."
Kota sighed and smiled at the kid, immediately the kid jumped in excitement.
"Can I get a photo together with you?"
The kid asked to which Kota didn't feel like saying no as the answer.
'It's fine when we are talking about cute kids.'
Kota smiled at the happy kid, he remembered how rough and tough his childhood was.
*Clank*
Coming out of the elevator, Kota and the kid posed while the father clicked their photo.
*Click*
"Done."
Showing the photo to his excited son, the father thanked Kota.
"Also, I have seen your movie. It was mind blowing and definitely the best till now."
Said the father sincerely, even the kid nodded his head.
"Well then, bye!"
Waving his hand, Kota parted away from the father and son duo.
Along the road, it was quiet as there were not many people in the city.
Kota' eyes fell on the wide glass window of a restaurant, and he was stunned.
"Am I becoming too famous?"
There was a huge poster of Kota and his Charizard standing in front of the fallen Billy and his Dragonite.
"Hey, did you watch the new movie! It was on fire right! I just didn't blink even once when watching the movie from the start!"
"Ya, I got goosebumps in the fight scenes. It's really incredible how they made each move look. I fell for Snowy a hundred times in the movie itself!"
"I feel bad for Billy though. He spent three years training and battling but at last was still defeated by The Monster."
Three boys were walking up from the steps of the slanting footpath.
Kota hid his face with the black cap and stood beside a tree whole facing the road.
"The Monster also won the Indigo League a few days ago. Doesn't he seem like he will really become a master if this goes on?"
The boy on the left said, he had his hands behind his back while walking.
"You have a Rattata, right? Why don't you challenge The Monster with that? Hahaha!"
Rattata, a normal type pokemon. It is known as the Mouse Pokemon.
The boy in the middle cracked a joke making the boy on the right and himself laugh.
"Do you really think that The Monster can defeat my Rattata? In dreams! I can crush all of his pokemons with one move!"
The boy on the left voiced, he wasn't affected by the joke much as it was usual for them to do so.
"Who's this guy?"
Noticing Kota, the boy in the middle said with his voice low enough.
Hearing his friend, the other two boys also glanced at Kota' back.
'Did they leave?'
Thinking that the boys have left, Kota turned back only to be greeted by three faces.
"It's The Monster!"
The boy on the left shouted stepping back, he knew that Kota had heard everything.
"Rony! Now is the chance!"
The boy in the middle said he was already standing in an attacking position.
'The hell? Are they trying to make a move?'
Kota, confused, stared at the three boys as Gengar came from behind.
"Gengar!"
"Ghost!"
The boy on the right jolted the boy in the middle and screamed at Gengar.
"Calm down kids! Are you trying to let the world know that Gengar is a ghost!"
Said Kota. The three boys finally realized that it was truly a Gengar and not a man-eating ghost.
"It's The Monster! I am a big fan!"
Taking photos and giving autographs specially designed by Ferry, Kota continued to head to the city port.
* * *
"I have no other choice then."
Kota talked at the port and learned that no ships or boats go to the New Island.
"Gaaaa!"
Scaring the people nearby, Gyarados roared while shaking his body in the sea water.
"We go in that direction."
Pointing towards the front, Kota said. He climbed on the large head of Gyarados.
"Gyarados, hurry! We must reach there before the big storm arrives."
Kota pulled a map out of his bag, and checked the New Island location.
"Gengar!"
Floating above Kota, Gengar was enjoying the sunny weather and cool air.
But it didn't take long for that to change.
*Grm*
With the storm on the way, Kota struggled to hold himself on top of Gyarados.
"Gengar!"
With the support from Gengar, Kota got some relief but still no relaxation.
*Grm*
The huge waves pushed Gyarados, the wind made Gengar grind his teeth.
As for Kota, because of the cold and wet clothes, he was already feeling intense regret.
'I shouldn't have come!'
In the storm, they kept on going and going until Gyarados saw the outline of an island.
The huge building was also stunning in itself, and the weirdest thing was, no large waves or strong winds came near the island.
"Damn it!"
Kota got on the island and laid his body on the green grass.
Taking short breaths, he first let his body temperature decrease.
Changing the clothes as soon as the body was at the perfect heat degree, Kota entered the building.
*Ckkk*
Lots of noise was made by the entrance door, it should definitely be fixed.
"Trainer Kota, you have come."
The woman who appeared on the hologram, in the invitation card, stood in front of Kota.
"Yes. So where's the World's Greatest Pokemon trainer? I can't see him."
Said Kota, he looked left and right. Well, he was acting obviously.
The hall was very huge with a very tall staircase that went to the top.
Some water spots on the sides, and almost not a single thing.
"Trainer Kota, the World's Greatest Pokemon trainer will show himself after the other trainers have arrived."
The woman or, brainwashed Nurse Joy, says.
"There is still time then."
"Gengar!"
Coming up, Gengar looked at the woman and laughed.
"Gengar!"
Shaking Kota, Gengar pointed his finger to the top of the staircase.
"I know who you are talking about but it's not time yet. We will get the chance."
Kota took a pillar base to rest, sitting down and he glanced at the woman.
'I don't need to do anything. She will be free automatically in the end.'
Time was going slow, Kota didn't like it. Why is it always like this?
When you want the time to go fast but feels like it's completely going in slow motion.
