All the mamluks, Sir John, Oliver and including Aiden himself, have drawn out their weapons. But without any intention of stopping their move, the horses kept going forward, slightly faster than before.
While all of that was happening, Oliver turned around as best as he could and placed an arrow at the bowstring before pulling it and releasing it. Aiden, curious on the result, quickly glanced behind and saw the arrow missing one of the men.
Oliver cursed, "Damn it! The horse is makin it harder to aim!"
Aiden said to him, "Just continue shooting! Hit their horses or something, slow them down as we try to shake them off!"
Oliver nodded before pulling out a second arrow and shot it at the air once again. Unfortunately for the whole group, the arrows missed. As the group kept their pace, being at their top speed at that moment, they found themselves still in the green grassland, though; it was much bigger than before.
Aiden had a bad feeling about all of this, his head slightly feeling pain out of nowhere. Turning around, his head so slightly after being on the horse for a few moments, he saw the group of men in black chasing him. Not even a single arrow hit their horses or bodies.
At that moment, he turned toward Oliver and asked, "Why did you stop?"
Oliver shook his head and has the bow on his back. He then pointed toward the quiver of arrows at his back, empty. Aiden sighed, "It seems that their horses are much more advanced than us! We can't do anything except fighting them head-on!"
Oliver nodded, "But I'm not confident. They, all of them, dodged ma'arrows like dodgin arrows thrown by hands!"
Aiden nodded in response and turned his head to the other side, toward Sir John, "Sir John, you heard me right?"
Sir John nodded, "Yea, I believe we can win the fight with all of these mamluks. But if we need to fight in close range, do it fast, otherwise, the horses would be too tired by the time we manoeuvre them around in a fight!"
Aiden nodded, he raised his sword to the air and spurred his horse to the front of the formation while shouting, "All of you! Hear me, in the count of three, turn our horses and prepare to fight. Two mamluks, stay with the princesses and guard them!"
They all nodded as Aiden nodded back. Slowly but surely, he took a deep breath and shouted, "1!"
"2!"
"3!"
As soon as he shouted the number, 13 mamluks, Sir John, Oliver and Aiden himself made a u-turn, the other two did as what they ordered to. Right at that moment of time, Aiden and his group found themselves charging head to head with the men in black.
He saw their eyes, determined to fight, 'Those eyes scare me!'
It was just a few seconds after he made the turn, and now he braced for impact after taking a deep breath. Placing his sword near his body, he made the impact. One of the men in black's sword made its way to him, but only hit Aiden's sword.
The 19-year-old was lucky. He sighed as he turned his horse around once again ready to fight. But what he saw next surprised him, the mamluks, despite their turanic heavy mamluk armours, most of them, no, all of them were laying on the ground, motionless with the horses running away at all kind of directions.
The one that survived were his companions, Sir John and Oliver, each were engaging with their enemies, around 5 in total. All of a sudden, Aiden saw three men coming from the side of his eyes, charging toward him with their weapons.
He screamed and raised his weapons, thinking, 'This is a trap! This a trap placed by the enemy! The mamluks… either they are too weak or the men in black are the one that is too strong. Either way, I'm either to find out!"
Just right before the swords were in breach of any part of Aiden's body, the 19-year-old ducked. Soon, right in front of his face, two swords went past him. He dodged the two swords without getting hit at all.
As a matter of fact, it was close enough that Aiden saw the reflection of his eyes on it. But it didn't matter to him, he was, 'I am determined to win! I will expose all kinds of evil deed this damn kingdom did!"
He raised his body, only to be greeted by another man in dark, charging toward him, the man was the third man. His sword struck Aiden's left leg, the 19-year-old screamed in the response to the pain he received.

It was a similar case to the quote, but lucky for him, he has a plan, one that he devised right after his leg was slashed by the sword of his enemy and while he was still screaming, using his sword on his left arm, he slashed the man's back, deep enough that some bones could be seen. The man fell toward the ground right after that.
But now, another target was lining up to Aiden. It was one of the men surrounding Oliver that was struggling to fight against them all. Without wasting any time, he spurred his horse forward and still with his sword at his left arm; he charged forward, toward the target.
Striking the target, right on his neck, beheading him instantly. Aiden smiled when he saw his sword, killing his target when he took a glance back. He turned his horse around once again and was up for another go at another target.
But there they were, the two men that have previously charged toward Aiden, now charging toward the 19-year-old once again. Aiden furrowed his eyebrows, gritted his teeth, switched the sword to the other hand and screamed, "Aahhhhhhhhh!"
