"Slipping a letter to my crotch, what a fuckin great idea!" Aiden, sarcastically, said to himself as he slowly slipped his hand into his pants and took it out with a letter in his hand.
With a big smile, he unfolded the piece of paper and began to read it, "Dear Aiden, I always knew that we are looking for each other. Our hearts stay connected even though we are far away, physically. But I knew, someday we would meet, I prayed to God and hoped that we would meet, but I'm afraid now's not the right time. Something came up and I can't tell you about this, but when I returned to my home… let us be together, forever"
Aiden thought to himself, 'Why does she write a letter like being in a romantic novel?'
(Maybe this is a romantic novel, hoho, who knows? Should I add the tag to it?)
He looked toward the ceiling as he fell and laid on his bed, still with the paper on his hand, "Sir God-King, could you give me some hint that would help me in this world?"
[Message from the God-king: Sorry Aiden, but Gods are not supposed to interfere with the worldly matters. There is one god, the god of fate, an ancient, the oldest god of all time, I can talk to him about this]
Aiden sighed and said, "Well, it is really hard to ask a help from a God, I really need to give you my deepest gratitude, thank you"
[Message from the God-king: I will return in a year. Based on my power, that girl has a lot and a long time to do it. You can go on a real adventure instead of walking around mindlessly looking for a single girl]
Aiden smiled, "True… Well, I should go to Oliver then"
…
A week has passed, Aiden travelled back to the town of Gostin, heavy-hearted, unhappy on the result of him on his so-called adventure for a month. Oliver chuckled as he heard the store of the 19-year-boy, "Ahahahah! Ya wasted a mont', a mont'! And ya never get to see that girl!"
Aiden slammed his hand on the table, "Oy c*nt! I'm not joking, I'm depressed, I don't know what to do. She said she would contact me in a year and I need to wait until that, there's also no way that I return to my parents!"
Oliver chuckled and contemplated, "Well… ya know? Why not ya accompany me on a trip? A true adventure for ya and me!"
Aiden looked at him dead in the eyes and asked, "Are you gay? Are you into me?"
Oliver panicked in his heavy accent, "What?! No, of course not!"
Aiden chuckled, "I'm just joking mate, I mean, sure though, I got nothing to do here and it would be good to spend some of ma'time with ma'former teacher!"
'What, why am I speaking like this?' Aiden asked himself in his mind.
…
The next morning, they departed from Oliver's wooden house, riding on their horses they went to cities after cities, towns after towns and villages after villages. After a few months of moving cities to cities, Aiden and Oliver found themselves in a desert, "Oliver, you sure you know the way? I think we are lost at this point!"
Oliver chuckled, "Mate! Ya got a long adventure to do! But don't worry, we're not lost. At least I think we're not! Southeast of this place, is a kingdom, I know it, there is an acquaintance there! So let's keep moving and find the kingdom!"
Aiden sighed, and they continued on their way. Soon, they found a big city in their sights from afar, in the middle of the desert, "Aiden, ya see that city over there?"
Aiden nodded, "Yea I do, wait, so you are saying that's the kingdom?"
Oliver chuckled, "No, I never said that mate. But with that city over there! We're officially lost!"
"Fuc you, Oliver!"
…
Not knowing where they are at that moment, they entered the big city. They heard all the things the guards standing near the giant gate muttered to each other as they approached the two men on horse, "Horses? Noblemen!"
Oliver shook his head, "We ain't any nobles, mate! We are adventurer, from the east, ya all know where this is right now?"
The guards looked at each other and said to them, "Ah, a… westerner? This is the city of Ctedu! Welcome traveller, I advise you to hold on to your pockets and pouches! It is dangerous in the city!"
Aiden and Oliver nodded, they dismounted from their horses and entered the city on foot, "Aye, mate! Ya know, adventure is all bout gainin new experience, just do it and ya will finish it eventually!"
Aiden chuckled and nodded, "Looking around the city"
He looked around and saw poverty everywhere, even the fruit stalls sold half-rotten fruits, "The situation here is very bad, sadly, we can't just help them all…"
Oliver chuckled, "Yea, I know bout this! I belive this is the slums area for the poor! There will be much better places in the city, just need to head to that place."
He pointed to yet another giant gate, about 1 kilometre away from the place they are standing, "that's probably the entrance to the next layer! I saw how these works in the past!"
Bump
A kid bumped into Aiden all of a sudden, the kid apologized, "Ah! Sorry, sir, I was careless while playing around!"
He responded, "No problem kid, just be careful next time"
Oliver chuckled, "Stupid! Check your pocket and pouch!"
Aiden did as what Oliver and it was missing, "Wha- That kid stole from me!"
[You lost half of your coins without noticing it immediately because the kid's skill are too high]
[Equipped Gakgung bow]
[Equipped quiver]
[Quiver refilled with available arrows]
Aiden turned around and grabbed an arrow from his quiver. He then pulled his bow as fast as he could and aimed it at the kid while maintaining his breath. And then…
