"You also need something to give her to loosen up a little," I appended. "Maybe a token of appreciation. Or maybe something that Cruella would really love."
Those sets of words echoed inside of me. I also knew that apologising for my wrongdoings would do the trick. It usually did this act of kindness to Cruella but in a joking manner. But now, everything was different, I could finally tell all my feelings to my partner.
For my token of gratitude, I thought that bringing Cruella a fine sake would make her happy. But I thought wrong. I did not know why, but something kept ringing inside my head every time I planned on giving the barrel to her.
