All of them pondered for a second, thinking to themselves the answer for the riddle; everyone but me. After scanning our figures, the Sphinx blasted us with a chuckle that obstructed our sense of hearing. But as time passed by, we gained our courage to hold a meeting with everyone.
"Does anybody know the answer?" Elanor asked as he studied each of our faces.
"What goes up and down at the very same time and never stops? What am I?" All the members repeated the sentence, mumbling to themselves, as if it would reveal the answer.
How can these people be that stupid?
"Lake, do you have an idea?" My patience rewarded me with someone quizzing me with the question.
A grin went upwards from my lips paired with a laugh without content until my guts bursts like the devil. No, not you two guards.
"I know, but nobody cared to ask me!" I continued wandering back and forth before facing the great mighty stone of a beast in front of me.
