Shadow received the deflective blow of the arcane, rolling him to the ground. The devil overseeing the match had stopped at the event and shielded the wolf with a finger.
"Shadow is unconscious!" The demon announced and called forth other subordinates to provide first aid to the injured wolf. After examining the wolf, the demons turned to face us, telling everyone that Shadow was still breathing and okay.
"It was a good thing that he did not suffer any graved injuries," Natalia blurted out as she watched the wolf get lifted by the demons using a make-shift bed.
I seconded her claim despite seeing my pet nearly taking his life just to prove himself worthy of his power.
"The dog fought well," the demon lord pronounced at the top of his chair, caressing his chin after witnessing the match.
