I swung my lasso back and forth, trying to overwhelm the umpteen numbers of humans and elves. They are all fighting side by side against the two of us, who got completely exhausted from the previous battle with the Shade. If we had not fought at odds with the Phantom, then we could have a chance against these armies.
They had been waiting for this time to cripple us when we were in our weakest state. They knew that the horde of monsters was coming at the mountains and stood by at the sides. As soon as we defeated the monsters, the humans ran into the battlefield and increased the pressure and ultimately defeated us.
"I commend you, goblin, for lasting this long," The commander in arms parried my attack as we exchanged blows amidst the battle.
"You too! You're quite good for a soldier."
"Capitan," The leader grunted to himself and imbued protective barriers to himself as well as his sword.
"System, can you copy that?"
