The monsters freed us from their encampment since we did not plan to take part in the war for now. They found us interfering from their work and ordered us to set off from where we had come from, despite knowing Diamante.
I had thought that they were here to help us too, like the rest of the monster's lords. Unfortunately, I expected too much out from them since they were all preparing for war.
The four of us noiselessly travelled back to our cave with our heavy hearts intact to our chest.
At the back of our minds, we wanted to accept their offer. But there was something that bugged me ever since.
"We may have enough food to feed us three!" Reji uttered, and contemplated the benefits they would receive once we accepted the offer.
"I can take you with me in Atlantis," I said, and crossed my fingers for that event to happen.
"We can't live underwater," The three of them retorted in unison and continued to bite their lengthy fingernails.
