Riki didn't believe with what Evelyn said because he knew his best friend so well. Then he heard a sigh from the other end of the phone.

As Riki expected, Evelyn wouldn't eat if he didn't remind her.
"Evelyn, you have to eat," Riki said softly.
He hoped that with his persuasion this time, Evelyn would understand and comply with his request again.
