Lennox;
When the Dark Moon meets its peak,
There's a brother who is your destiny
Hide, my child, safe and sound,
As in this brother, your destiny is found
In the Moonlight, she will show you,
All the questions, that were kept from you,
Go in search until she's found,
Resist the evil all around.
When the Dark Moon meets its peak,
There's a sister who is your destiny
Hide, my child, safe and sound,
As in this sister, your fate is found.
In the Darkness, he'll show you,
All the answers, that were kept from you,
Go in search until he's found,
Resist the liars all around.
Yes, you will speak to those who'll hear
And in your words a sadness flows
But can you brave what you most fear?
Can you face what the Dark Moon shows?
When the Dark Moon meets its peak,
There are the siblings, and their destiny
Come, my children, homeward bound
When all is lost, then all will be found.
I opened my eyes and stared up at the ceiling above. This was getting ridiculous now. Every night for as long as I could remember I had heard the same stupid song. Every word burning into my brain as though it was being stamped with a branding iron. I rolled over and grabbed for my phone. 3:30am. Brilliant. I hadn't even been asleep for an hour. I rolled from my bed and dropped my phone back on the table and walked over to my bedroom window, staring out at the sky above.
I flexed my fingers and summoned my magic to my palms, watching as the midnight blue mist danced around my wrist. I closed my eyes and shook my head, running through every spell I could think of to try and get some sleep. A sense unlike anything I had ever felt rushed up my spine causing me to open my eyes once more.
The song… it was louder now. It seemed as though it was just outside my window. I looked out and peered into the darkness. A flash of white caught my eye. What is that? I pushed up onto my tip toes and leant a little further out, hoping to get a better line of vision. Whatever it was, it was moving fast. I sucked in a sharp breath, feeling as the icy air filled my lungs.
Was that a… a… was that a wolf?
