Caleb Evison sits in the back corner booth as he sips at a drink and smiles as the dames on his arms sway as a Loving singer, Tegan Adams serenade's the crowd with her seductive and angelic tones as Caleb smirks and lights up a cigar as he then claps along with everyone else as Tegan smirks and bows before the curtain falls and she heads off into the back as Caleb whispers to one of his Dames who nods and heads off as he rubs on the leg of the other.
Tegan slips out of her dress from behind a provision and quickly changes as the Dame comes up to security and is scanned into the room.
Dame: Miss Adams. Caleb would like to see you when you're done dressing. Booth 4.
And as quickly as she came in she was out, Tegan sighing as she finishes getting herself changed before she thanks the bodyguards and heads into the main foyer of the Lounge before going and taking a seat across from Caleb and the Two beautifully rendered dames.
Caleb: Knockout performance.
Tegan: Cut the shit, Caleb.
Caleb: Damn, Teg. Why you always gotta be so mean.
Tegan: Cuz you know I have a raid in twenty minutes. Time is money for me so come on what's up?
Caleb: Just thought you so know there's been some chatter about some agents getting busted up in the real world.
Tegan: And?
Caleb: I just want you to be careful about whatever you're doing tonight.
Tegan: I usually am. You got my tips for the night?
Caleb: Yep, got them transferring now. Pretty good haul tonight.
Tegan checks her phone and smirks.
Tegan: You throw in a little extra?
Caleb: My poignant attempt to persuade you from tonight's extracurricular activities.
Tegan: Sorry. Can't do.
Caleb: Then keep it and ensure me you'll be back in one piece tomorrow?
Tegan: I'll try.
The two do their own handshake as Caleb watches Tegan head off out of the lounge before she taps her heels together and fires off into the air as rocket boots sending her flying as a nano mask covers her face as she flies past various vehicles, mechs and other flying dream sharers. Caleb puts his cigar out as he claps as the next performer comes onto the stage.
Tegan arrives outside of a clear field in the middle of nowhere and she types in a code in her phone which suddenly causes the floor below her to give away as she begins descending down a quick stop elevator that covers back up with rendered grass as Tegan darts below with a yawn before the platform settles and she strides through a set of double door as a massive warehouse full of men and women, weapons, vehicles, mech suits, planes and all sorts of things stretches long and far as Tegan let's the scanner read her before she's allowed into a room where a group of people wearing the same type of Nano Mask salute her before she salutes back and heads down the hallway into a large set of doors where Leon Washington looks at her and extends a hand as she shakes it.
Tegan: You're here tonight? I thought you had the night off?
Leon: Nah, man. Plans got fucked. Senator ended up living.
Tegan: Fucking kidding me.
Leon: Nah. Greg's in there right now talking to the benefactor. Said to wait till you got here before we go up there.
Tegan: The benefactor wants to meet us?
Leon: Shit, I don't know. I guess.
Tegan: Great. Fucking great.
The two take deep breaths before heading inside as the Hooded Figure we saw fighting with Tobias stands stands next to a frightened Greg Childers. Tegan and Leon salute and Greg acknowledges them as the Hooded Figure walks towards them.
Hooded Figure: Leon. Tegan. I've heard many things about you.
Tegan: Thank you benefactor…
Hooded Figure: Please...call me…(removing hood) Xander.
Tegan fawns a bit as Xander Halstead was a handsome man, a white streak through his shoulder length black hair as Greg runs his hands together as Leon extends a hand as Xander shakes it.
Xander: I hear you two were the last dreamers Ian was able to train…
Tegan: We were…
Xander: Ian and I go way back...I know his methods were... extreme. But the skills he taught you have great purpose.
Leon: May I ask, sir...what happened today?
Xander: A great unknown presented itself. But one I was hoping for. Tonight's mission. Have you been briefed?
Tegan: A bit sir.
Xander: Greg. The details.
Xander moves away as Greg takes his phone and swipes it into a large 3D Holographic Screen.
Greg: With the Senator alive, security will be tightened but not as constricted as it could be. Still we can't risk sending anyone in that can be detected on the neural networks. Which is where you two come in.
Leon: And we're going after what exactly?
Greg: A source code,(looking at Xander) am I correct?
Xander: Yes. A chain code for a master source. One of three we need to gather.
Tegan: And why are we doing this?
Xander: For reasons I cannot tell you, yet. But in due time. Your fees…
Xander swipes on his phone and Leon and Tegan look at their phones as Leon chuckled and Tegan whistled.
Xander: For a job well done.
Tegan: Who pays upfront before a job's completed?
Xander: I have faith that you two can get this job done.
Leon: What's our level of discretion?
Xander: Doesn't matter. Just see to it that the job is done.
Greg: I believe they…
Xander glares at Greg who quickly goes quiet.
Xander: Time is a bit of a factor. I'll need you to complete the job in the next…(checks phone) three hours.
Tegan: Then we better get on it.
Xander: Good luck to you both.
Leon nods and he and Tegan head off as Xander looks at Greg who gulps.
Greg: They'll get it done.
Xander: They I don't have a lack of confidence in.
Greg: When they succeed I succeed. They have served me well.
Xander: Be sure to remind yourself of that. While they do the work, and you reap their reward, how long will they feel the need to follow your word?
Greg: Loyalty speaks more than more to us.
Xander: I suppose we're going to find out.
Xander goes and takes a seat.
Xander: For now... we'll simply wait and see.
Greg gulps again as he watches the doors and then looks back at Xander who simply smirks at him.
