Third Person's POV
"You are scaring me. Do you need some water?" Mia was shocked to see him going all happy with her. She thought he would be disappointed in her.
"I am not disappointed in you if that's what you are thinking. I think you are the bravest person I've ever met. You are not afraid to face the challenges thrown at you and every time life tries to drown you, you swim your way out Mia."
"Although I wished you would've told me sooner I understand where you come from, trusting cops is not easy for you. I would've helped you." He gave her a small smile.
"What are you talking about exactly?" Mia was alarmed her heart rate started to change rapidly.
"Calm down, Sugar, it's okay. We'll talk later." Just then the doctor walked in.
"Good to see you awake Miss Edge, your friends were very worried about you especially the Sargeant." He walked towards the monitor and started to note something down.
