Time passed by, and Jon still destroying the bridge. He already have supplies for 3 weeks, so there's no problem with that. There are some WG agents that come at the first week. They seem to check the bridge and Jon capture them.
Jon interrogate them and find out that they're just investigating. There has been no plan to continue this stupid bridge construction. They have suspicion that the attack some months back is from RA, so they want to gather information.
Jon call the East Army and give the agents to them. Maybe they can get information about WG from these agents. Jon have his own things to do, so he let East Army take care of it. He don't have time to do this kind of thing now.
Jon continue to train after that incident, and his progress is actually good. He has destroyed 10 km of this massive bridge completely including the foundation. But when he look at the overall length of this bridge, he just sigh.
This bridge is much longer than an island, it's about 300 metres wide, and 500 metres high. Not to mention the foundation that reach the sea floor, which must be some km deep. Jon can only destroy some tens of metres from the foundation, he can't reach deeper. At least it will not touch the ship that sail on it.
Jon keep training, and in 11th day, his water chakra mastery has finally reach 90%. Now he just need to raise his earth mastery which is 84% currently. But he's not rushing everything, he still train like before, and he still train his water chakra.
Jon start to get bored in 3rd week, so he start to do some anime or manga sword attack that have element properties. He can't really do it, he just use similar movement using the same chakra transformation. He just can't use earth chakra because it's usualy for blunt weapon, not sharp weapon like sword.
"Hmm, i can't use earth chakra as it is, but i can manipulate the weight right?"-Jon
Jon get this idea and want to try it, but manipulating weight is not that easy. He need to make handseals, and it takes time. He will just waste his time for those handseals. So he dismiss the idea and leave the earth chakra usage in sword for now.
The 3rd week has finished and now Jon will go to Shimotsuki Village again to get his new sword. He still haven't finished his mission, but he can leave for a day to get his new sword. A ship pick him up, and they leave to Shimotsuki Village immediately.
They arrive after some hours and Jon go to Kozaburo's house. Jon see the old geezer is sitting in front of his house while having tea. There's also a box covered with black cloth beside him. It seem he has wait for Jon's arrival today.
"Just in time, you brat. I almost thought that you'll not come today."-Kozaburo
"It's still noon y'know, no need to be overly dramatic like that. So, is that the sword?"-Jon
"Yeah, but i haven't decide a name, because i want to ask you something first."-Kozaburo
"What is it?"-Jon
"Brat, when you fuse your chakra thing on that molten metal, i feel another presence inside yourself."-Kozaburo
"Wow, you can feel it? Well, i can tell you what is it, or maybe you can even see it."-Jon
Jon summon Kurama in his small form and Kozaburo got surprised. Jon give the same explanation to Kozaburo like how he explained it to the RA. Kozaburo just nod his head and seem to think of something.
"Alright, i've decided. You have a nine-tailed fox spirit, so there's a suitable name for the sword. I name it 'INARI'."-Kozaburo
(Inari: A god of industriousness, grains, the harvest, agriculture and is generally viewed as a fertility Kami that have nine-tailed fox as her assistant to send letters. Inari is said to be genderless. Sorry if i'm wrong, i read it on wikipedia.)
Kozaburo open the box and show the sword to Jon. Jon take it and draw it from it's scabbard. It is simply based on the design of Ichigo's bankai, Tensa Zangetsu. The differences are it's shorter, it's straight instead of curved katana, it have silver-white blade instead of black, the handle is full black without red, and the tsuba is thinner with red tomoe at each tip. The scabbard is black with black cloth rope ornament, and Straw Hat jolly roger at both sides.
"Try it!"-Kozaburo
Jon then try to cut a tree with his usual power. He didn't use chakra and just use physical strength. Jon approach a tree and slash it easily. But he's more surprised to see that he make a flying attack with that swing even though he din't intend to make it. Jon actually can use normal flying attack normally without chakra flow since a month ago, but it's still weak.
"What the..."-Jon
"The blade is very sharp that it cut the air itself. But i can't use it when i test it before, Koushiro also can't wield it. So seeing you use it easily make my assumption correct. That sword can only be wielded by you."-Kozaburo
"What? Hmm, is it because of that chakra fuse on the metal?"-Jon
"Most likely, when i wield it, the sword seem to reject me, especially when i try to use Ryuo, the rejection became stronger. It feel like the sword has become blunt when i swing it. When Koushiro try it, he said that the sword is very heavy. It seem i'm lucky to be able to even lift it, because i'm the smith. If i'm not the smith, then i can't even hold it, hahaha."-Kozaburo
"Really? Wow, i never know a sword can be like that."-Jon
"Of course a sword can be like that, so train your sword art more, brat!"-Kozaburo
"You don't need to tell an obvious thing to me. Thanks old man, you also seem very happy."-Jon
"Of course i am, that sword is as good as a Great Grade Sword. If only i was younger and have more power, or i have perfect tools.... Sigh..."-Kozaburo
"GREAT GRADE SWORD? Damn, that's impressive old man."-Jon
"It's as strong as my Wado Ichimonji, too bad i can't make it into Supreme Grade Sword. Supreme Grade Swords are tempered and grow with battles. If you can make that sword black, it will be a Supreme Grade."-Kozaburo
"Make it black?"-Jon
"Yeah, by using & tempering it through battle and Ryuo usage, the sword can slowly absorb the Ryuo. It is very hard to do, that only a few sword can achieve that. Yoru sword that being held by the greatest swordman right now is one of it."-Kozaburo
"Hoo, well, i can't even use haki for more than 3 minutes, so it still a far dream. But it's not a Famed sword right? Even though it's as strong as that"-Jon
"Of course not, famed swords are swords that gained fame. A newly made sword is not a famed sword."-Kozaburo
Jon then put his new sword Inari and take out his Kusanagi. Kozaburo is intrigued by Kusanagi and check it. He's very impressed by it and say that it's as tough as Inari, or maybe tougher. Jon said that Kusanagi have a special material, but he don't know what is it.
Kozaburo say that Kusanagi can be categorized as Great Grade too. But a sword's grade is not the deciding factor. The one that wield it will be the deciding factor wether a sword can show it's full potential or not.
"Wait, Inari is Agriculture, and Kusanagi is mowing grass. Are they swords or farming tools?"-Jon sweatdrop at this
"So why are you showing this Kusanagi sword to me?"-Kozaburo
"Ah, that's right. Old man, i've said i want to have a twin sword right? Let me show you Inari's twin."-Jon
Jon then use his customization card to change Kusanagi. He copy Inari's shape & size completely. Then he change it into Tensa Zangetsu's real copy design, except the length. Kozaburo got dumbfounded by this, he never know a sword that can change it's shape.
"Geezer, you've made the scabbard that i asked right?"-Jon
Kozaburo take a scabbard with the same design as Inari's. Jon take it and sheath Kusanagi in it's new scabbard. The reason Jon just change his Kusanagi right now is because he want it to have exactly same size, shape & weight with his new sword.
Jon then strap both of his swords on his back like deadpool. Kusanagi is on his right, while Inari on his left. He try to draw them and make some movement. They're longer than normal ninjato, but felt very comfortable to use for Jon.
Jon have some small talk with Kozaburo before he leave. Jon also left a box of gift for the geezer, it's 3 bottle of different liquors that he & his friends collected on his journey. All supplies are inside Jon's inventory, so he can take anything. He will buy the new ones to make up for it, but he give Kozaburo the best 3 as a thanks for the sword.
Jon go back to the ship and they leave immediately. Jon is eager to try his new sword at full power, and how it paired with Kusanagi. They arrive at Tequila Wolf and Jon also get new supplies for a month now. Then he dash to the bridge after they finish making preparation.
It's almost dark now, but darkness is not a problem for Jon with his sharingan. He stand on the sea, held Inari with both hands and flow wind chakra on it. Then he swing it horizontally with full power toward the bridge pillar. He can cut a pair of pillars, and it even reach the pillars behind and scratch of them.
Jon then try to cut the bridge body with the same attack, but he can only cut half of it with wind chakra. He cut the rest and look at his new sword. It's very sharp and support his attack better than Kusanagi. It is made for him afterall, but his mastery over swordmanship is still too low for his Great Grade Sword.
"Well, it's fine, i'm not focusing on swordmanship actually. I just train more on it nowadays because i need main weapon. But i will still focus on ninjutsu, even my swords are tools to support my ninjutsu."-Jon
Jon then try his twin sword with all the things he can do with swords. Using good sword that support chakra flow really make his job done faster. He destroy the bridge much faster than before, but he won't use the swords again tomorrow. He just want to test them, and he will use wooden sword again.
After some hours, Jon stop and he sleep to save energy. The next day, Jon continue his job and use wooden swords again. He keep doing it and in his 5th week doing the mission, Jon raise his fire & lightning chakra mastery to 90%.
They're the first affinity that Jon got, so he's not surprised. He is more surprised to why they don't reach 90% before water mastery. But when he thought of his focus on training water & earth, it's not that surprising anymore.
On 6th week, finally his earth mastery reach 90%, but he still want to raise his wind mastery that is still at 87% before accepting wood release. His wind chakra will be his main power when using swords afterall. He finally reach his wind mastery to 90% in the 7th week.
"Finally, phew it's such a hard work to do, i even shortened my sleep to train longer. I've destroyed 3/4 of this bridge, and i want to destroy the remaining with wood jutsus. System, accept reward!"-Jon
[Accepting reward of raising earth & water chakra mastery to 90%: Wood release.
Accepting hidden reward for raising all basic chakra mastery to 90%: 10 units of White Zetsu]
"What?"-Jon
