Serena's POV
"Okay, guys! Let's make the teams." Ash said as they all gathered around.
I wasn't able to hear their conversation completely but I can sense what they were talking about, though.
Ash waits for a moment and then continues, "So, what about Alain and I, Gary and Paul, while Drew and Clemont will be the goalkeepers." He suggested while stretching his legs.
"Fine by me! You both gonna lose anyway" Gary smirks at them while tossing the ball up and down.
"Your smirk is gonna wipe out soon." Alain rolled his eyes.
"Hey, Ash! The net is not very heavy and durable." Drew said pointing towards the goal nets.
"Ah... fine!"
Ash said. He was sounding a bit disappointed though, I raised my eyebrow and looked towards my friends, "What was that about?" I asked in confusion, waiting for the answer.
But they just shrugged their shoulders.
Clemont and Drew made their way to the goals and stood in front of it. While Ash and Alain's and Gary and Paul's teams stood in front of eachother.
The field wasn't so big, they could play as duo teams.
"TWEEEET!"
Clemont blew the whistle as both teams rushed forward to take the ball.
Alain was first to take the ball and started to run towards Drew.
We watched in awe as Alain was carrying the ball with him. He was super fast and had great reflexes!
Ash was sprinting in front of him.
Suddenly, Paul did a slide tackle to take the ball from aside but...
the next moment, Alain stuck the ball in between his feet, as Paul was about to kick it while sliding.
Then he jumped with the ball still stuck in his foot, with a front flip he released the ball towards Ash's direction.
The ball reached Ash, it was 5 or 6 inches up from his head.
We were shocked as Ash jumped in the air, and kicked the ball with a bicycle kick.
The ball shot forward towards the goal with the speed of a bullet. It was simply,
"Too fast!"
I thought.
Surprisingly, the ball scattered the grass underneath it from its path wherever it was going.
The ball reached Drew with a blink of an eye.
Obviously, he couldn't catch the ball but what surprised us, that he somehow managed to stop the ball with his hands crossed in front of his chest.
"HEY! I TOLD YOU THAT THE NET IS NOT THAT STRONG!" Drew shouted.
"What?! But I thought it could handle that one?" Ash said disappointed.
I gulped and looked at my friends, their jaws were dropped and eyes widened just like me.
Dawn somehow managed to say, "H-how is th-that even p-possible?!" She stammered in shock.
None of us replied, though. We just kept looking, as they continued to play.
~~~
They were just awesome! They swere like professionals but!
There was something else. Their strengths were on different level. I could see their veins popping up every time they shot forward.
I could see how gracefully they moves their bodies.
.
.
.
There was definitely some reason behind their strengths.
They played for nearly half an hour continuously and then decided to take a rest.
There was another table near us, the boys made their way towards it and grabbed the seats.
"Let's talk to them!" Dawn said from nowhere.
"Huh? B-but-" May started but was cut off when she realised that Dawn wasn't there anymore.
"Ahhh... We should go too then." Misty suggested and we nodded.
We stood up and rushed towards the boys.
"Hey!... It's Ash? Isn't it?" Dawn asked as we approached them. The boys looked at us blankly.
"Yeah? I'm Ash Ketchum? Who might you be?" Ash asked with a small grin.
Come to think of it, I was seeing his face first time this close.
His smile was natural. Tbh, he was charming and good looking as well.
Okay. No. He was...
HOT
I couldn't look away from his face. His chocolatey eyes, thery were deep... holding a lots of memories.
"So this is your full name! Well, I'm Dawn!" Dawn extended her hand.
"We're in same grade." She said as Ash shook hands with her.
"Oh, cool!" He chirped before his attention shifted to all of us.
But Before we could introduce ourselves, Dawn started, "And this is May, Misty, Aria, Korrina, and... Serena"
Ash's POV
I glanced over to the blonde-haired girl as Dawn introduced her.
I was a bit surprised seeing her here. I recognised her from earlier.
Then again I wonder why she looked away like that?
So, her name is Serena...
Suddenly our eyes met, we looked at each other for a sec but yet again she looked away before I'd say anything.
Well okay, this happens I guess. You can't stare straight into an stranger's eyes for a long time.
But... Why her face was a bit red?
I think she had a fever...
"Well nice to meet ya' all! Why don't you guys have a seat." I said while gesturing towards the seats in front of them.
They grabbed the seats one by one.
An awkward silence fell before Dawn started again,
"Um...here! Take it. You guys seem pretty tired after your match." She handed us a water bottle she was grabbing, followed by May.
"Thanks!" Alain kinda snatched it from her hand.
Dawn giggled at him. Good thing she wasn't looking annoyed.
"Yeah, it's very nice of you!" I said as I grabbed the water bottle from May.
"Teehee~ Don't mention it." She said.
After a good couple of minutes, our clothes were getting dry too as the conversation continued.
"So, you guys joined today, right?" Misty asked, no one in particular.
"Yeah! I MEAN we don't really need to attend a school. We're smart enough, don't know 'bout them. But I'm smart enough that I can score a 100% at a boring place like school. Huh!"
Silence.
We sweatdropped as Gary started his NONSENSE. His hand was on his hair with eyes closed.
I narrowed my eyes as I smacked some senses in him and pulled him back to his seat.
"What the hell are you doing?!" I yelled in his ear.
"Ouch! What?! I'm tryin' to impress her dude!" Gary said.
"Oh, she's the girl? Misty right?" Alain whispered as he recognised what Gary said in school.
"Ofcourse!" Gary whispered back.
"But no one is impressed by you. Now, come here." Paul said as he locked Gary with his hands and pulled him back.
"Hehe... Um... Sorry 'bout that. Nevermind him... He have no idea what he's saying." I said while waving it off.
Trying to get the situation... But,
"Heh... Y-yeah okay..." Misty said.
"I-it was kinda impressive tho..."
"Eh!?... FUCK!"
I yelled in my mind...
~~~
"So, how are ya' guys so good at Soccer? Tbh, it was super cool!" Korrina let out a squeal.
I chuckled before thinking about it,
"Training." Alain replied.
"Yeah... But, come on! There's definitely something else. I've never seen this strength before!" Korrina said dissatisfied.
"Breathing Technique," I said.
"Breath... What?" They all said.
"Mhm... If you can control your breathe properly during performing an activity, you can build unstoppable strength in your body." I explained.
They looked blank about whatever I said. But they were definitely surprised by that.
"Suggoi!!!"
They yelled.
~~~
"So, A-Ash? What do you do?" Finally, Serena spoken.
"Oh. Ah... We carry out missions." I wasn't sure to saying that straight tho.
"Missions? What type of missions?" She was getting curious now...
"You see we are agents of Kalos Security Association." This was the jaw-dropping moment for the girls.
"Yeah, we carry out missions, Ash here is the leader of our group. We all joined after some moments than Ash. We all trained together and get stronger andd stronger." Clemont said while wrapping a hand around Ash's neck from aside.
Ash nervously scratches his cheek, "Um... This is how it IS,"
"And we are the TOP agents of Association," Gary jumped again of nowhere.
Paul couldn't hold him up for so long...
"You sone of a-... Sit down!" A vein popped on Paul's forehead.
~~~
"S-so that means you guys take missions regarding crimes or something?!" Serena asked with a hint of interest while looking at Ash.
"Not every time. We only receive serious and big missions," Ash replied.
"Wow! You guys are just amazing!" Korrina said in awe.
The group chatted for a couple of hours and soon it was time to leave. "Okay guys, I think we should leave now," Ash said while looking at his watch.
"We'll see ya guys tomorrow at the school!" Clemont said while standing up.
"Take care, BYE!"
~~~
Serena was walking towards her home. She had her lips stretched ear to ear after the first encounter with the boys. 'Wow! He is amazing. I can't wait to know more about him.
~~~
"Serena! Get ready for school!" Grace shouted from downstairs.
Serena gets up, takes a bath, and gets ready for the school. "And also don't forget to take your Project that you have to submit today!"
'oh, yeah I forgot', "Okay! Thanks, Mom!"
Serena set her bag and lifted the project carefully. It was very important for her as she had to submit it to Prof. Henry today.
She went downstairs to grab her breakfast. "Make sure honey that you bring it carefully to the school okay?" Grace said.
"Yeah! I will Mom, don't worry." Serena replied confidently.
Grace smiled and soon they began to eat their breakfast.
Serena finished her breakfast and now she is leaving for school. She lifted the project carefully in her arms and made her way to the bus.
After that, She reached the bus stop and was greeted by Dawn and May.
"Hey, Serena!" Dawn was going to hug her but realized the project in her hands. "Oh, so today is the day when you will submit it right?"
"Yeah!" Serena replied. "So, how was yesterday? You guys seem to have fun at the park,"
"That was fun!" May started, "Those guys are really interesting, I hope we could become good friends!"
"Only FRIENDS or more than that?" Dawn smirked at May.
May started to blush thinking about a certain guy. However, Dawn didn't tease it to her straight.
Soon the bus arrived and they got onto it.
~~
Serena was sitting on her seat beside Dawn in the classroom.
Her friends were on the back seats behind her. As usual, Serena was serene and looking in a good mood.
After a couple of minutes,
The boy showed as he entered the classroom, Serena's face lit up when Ash noticed her and waved towards her followed by his friends.
Serena automatically waved back with a huge grin on her face.
However, her mude got ruined in an instant, though, as she saw a boy enter the classroom with his hands in his pockets followed by his friends.
He walked past her shoting a glare towards her with his friends and sat down on the seat in another row with his usual arrogant attitude on his face.
Serena's blood boiled and she shot him a glare along with Dawn, 'That boy!... That CAMEL!'
