Sung-Ho found he was reaching for this bottle a lot more lately. Tonight, perhaps he should fill his cups with tea or fresh water instead. In the future, he better refrain from it all together. There used to be a time when alcohol lent itself to his merriment, but lately, he only used it to numb his thoughts.
"And if you desired me so, why did you not go all the way with me that night? You even refrained from kissing me." Soo-Ah mindlessly brushed her lips with the tip of her fingers.
Sung-Ho turned to her, brows raised high, looking overwhelmed as he gulped his liquor. "How could I do that with you, with no legal bounds between us?"
"So what? We could have settled those properly afterwards," Soo-Ah found herself blurting.
