Soo-Ah's footsteps were light as she skipped on the cobblestone of the streets without feeling their hard edges through her sandals. All she had in her head were made-up images of how her reunion with Sung-Ho would play out. She ended up losing her way a couple of times, that's how distracted she was, not paying attention to the still unfamiliar streets with their well-kept buildings and open-shuttered windows. Lucky for her, the people around her, who would otherwise keep to themselves, were quick to guide her every time she asked for directions. Everyone was feeling the joy in the air and that translated into becoming overly friendly and eager to offer guidance.
