While preaching, the old woman's voice was monotonous, with inflexions at the strangest moments. It often allowed for Soo-Ah's mind to roam free, away from this place, then snap right back, with the old woman's change of tone.
"We have been discussing over and over the duties and the characteristics of a respectable wife. But some of you seem to not keep up." She eyed Soo-Ah with scorn. "Yu-Mi, what were they?" the old lady asked, raising her brow as if expecting at least one of her students would not disappoint her.
