"What are you doing here, young woman?" a manly voice came from behind her. Soo-Ah dropped the latch and turned around to face a stranger.
"Forgive me, Master I… I have official business with one of the Hwarangs. I am from the Ho household," Soo-Ah replied, showing her clay seal again and offering her respects.
The middle-aged man, wearing a uniform that Soo-Ah found familiar, gave her the once-over and smirked. "You have business with one of our Hwarangs, you say? Very well. Follow me and see to your business." He turned and walked away, reassured that the naïve looking young woman would do as she was told.
