Chapter 1 - The World Is Unfair

"He's nothing but a guy just feeding on his father's scraps" a distant voice came from outside the restroom.

"But honey, I think he's pretty good for a boy who has just completed his college, didn't you heard his speech. Everyone was left speechless."

"You don't have to worry for scumbags like him, now do you" the tyrant like person replied, "His father destroyed my life and got promoted, how could I ever forgive a guy like him? The crime should be passed on to him by inheritance don't you think so? As the tables have finally turned and now I am the head, punishing him is my responsibility."

"Oh, honey! You are brutal" the women replied, "Cheers to your brutality!"

The couple burst out in laughter and continued the blabbering with the other colleagues.

"So that was my crime.." a mumbled voice drowned in the ocean of sorrow came from the restroom. "Why..... did I come here. This place is hell....."

The lad was covered with bruises on his face and blood pouring down from his broken nose. His coat was torn as he laid upon the floor. He gathered the tiny bit of strength that he was left with and got up and opened the door.

"Good afternoon sir," he said to the tyrant

"Oh yes, afternoon" the tyrant smirked and laughed in his face, "Oh my what happened, did they take good care of you?"

"I don't know about them but I did take good care of them," he replied while looking into his eyes.

"What do you mean by that ?" he ground his teeth, "...and what's with the look"

"Did you know my father's eyes were black?"

"Of course I know, I still despise those bloody eyes always looking down on me."

"But do you know the colour of my mother's eyes? Go ask her. "

"What shit are you spatting out you son of a...."

Unable to complete the sentence the tyrant fell on the floor with the blood flooding the floor. He stabbed him!!

"Who killed this guy ma'am?" the boy asked the lady waving a pack of notes.

"Who knows?", the lady took the dollars and left "Anything else you want?"

"Maybe yes" the lad stabbed himself and laid down low.

The woman ran and entered the main party hall crying and shouted: "Help!!"

Everyone followed her leading them to the restroom's entrance. And as they reached the place two bodies were lying down. The shocked faces gradually turned pale.

"There has been a murder," the woman said while tears pouring from her eyes "This lad also got stabbed while protecting him."

The woman kept weeping on and on. The bodyguards took the bodies up and called the ambulance. Both of them were taken to the hospital.

"Unfortunately, the head of the British Investigations aka the CID has died in a murdering plot plotted by the local retaliation group which wanted the CID to work properly.", the news stated. "Also, the mighty boy who stood up to protect the Head of CID instead of himself was given a guard of honour by the queen herself."

The bulletin got over and a lady entered the patient room and turned off the television and revealed herself

"How are you doing lying in the bed there?" asked the lady from earlier, "You are quite the man, even more, brutal than that bonehead you killed."

"You flatter me..."

"'know something?" the lady asked, "I've taken quite a liking to you."

"I don't like the idea of being liked by a woman older than me"

"What do you mean by that, I'm just 26 you know"

"Like I'd believe that"

"There is something I wanted to ask." she said, "Did you plan to kill him or was it an instantaneous action?"

"I've been planning to attend his funeral since the past 6 years for what he did to my father", he replied, "... and while I was planning his death I also found my purpose to in life."

"And what's that?"

"Why should I tell you that?"

"Maybe I could help like earlier " she answered, "...but I'll take a high incentive though"

"In the 2 million years of history of mankind, nothing has changed except that we now wear different clothes. The predator still hunts the prey and feed on them. Even though the system of dynasties and kingdom is said to be replaced by democracy it still works properly. Even though I was the culprit, I was the one who got praised."

"So what's the point?"

"I'll change it," he answered with a serious face, "I'll create a world where justice isn't blind but has good eyes. Where there is no food chain. Where no one is above another."

"These things just look good in fiction movies and novels," she said, "no matter how hard we try there will still be a corrupt bastard out there."

"I don't care what you say," he said, "I Lupin Hault took a pledge on my parent's grave that I won't let the same thing happen to anyone else."

"You sound like a hero," she said, "Trust me you are on the path of sorrow and demise."

" Miss Heldria, I already have a government job and a mind map for my objective to become a reality.' said Lupin, "I already have the favourable position in the country and people support. All I need trustworthy and loyal colleagues."

"Well, you are a person who can do anything, that I know," said Ms Heldria, "Therefore, I am ready to join you"

"When did I ask you to join?"

"Oh come on, I'll even reduce my incentive by 99 cents you know."

"Get lost."
