Everyone was gathered around in the main area of Danny's cabin, except the twins. On the couch was Treyala, Jack and Puer, rested and patched up. Stand by the fireplace, was Grimm's father, Danny Grimm, leaving Elrod Grimm and Arya Chatowä leaning against the window, hold hands, his left with her right. Finally, the twins entered the room and they sat on Jack's lap.
"I will slash you," he growled.
They looked up. "Brother may I slaughter him?"
"No no,he wouldn't stand a chance."
Jack's ears fell to his sad, "Hey...I'm older here," he sounded like a baby pouting.
Like her usual lively self, she smacked the back of Jack's head, "Leave this cuties alone."
He threw his hands up, "Then have em sit on your lap!"
"I'd rather watch these two adorables from afar."
He sighed, "Puer how about you," Jack looked over at Puer.
Puer began to whistle and looked elsewhere.
Jack began to glance over st Arya and Grimm, but they looked at eachother. Jack simply crossed his arms above their heads, "Fine."
The girl was playing with his tail, "So fluffy," she stared greatly at it.
"To business," Danny cut in. "What is it that you guys are trying to achieve."
The others looked at eachother. Now they thought about, they had no real goal. Then Arya and Grimm stepped up.
"I want stop Father Escobar, and unite the clans."
"And I want to be beside Arya all the way," Grimm held her hand tighter.
Treyala's attention was grabbed by what Arya said. It put a smile on her face, even a few tears escaped her eye's. "And we'll follow you," she wrapped her arm around Jack as he growled.
"Hey I di-"
Puer copied her as well, "We'll back you up all the way!"
Danny smirked. "Well then, I'll help in the only ways I can," he looked at the twins. "Boy, Girl, will you accompany them?"
"It's time to say goodbye already," girl began to tear up.
Boy stood up with his sister and held her, letting her cry into his dress, "Goodbye....Dad," the two left the room.
Everyone else was confused and looked at Danny.
"What the hell are they talking about," Grimm slammed his fist on the coffee table. In the moment, he let go of Arya's hand, but she understood why.
"I know our time together was short but," he took a good look at Grimm before approaching him, "I'm glad I was able to meet of my sons," the old man began to cry.
Grimm's anger had made him shake, "I finally find out my past...in a way...and now I'm Los-"
His father hugged him greatly. "My child, I'll be meeting your mother and brother soon," he pulled back, "And I said I'll help you," he placed his hand on Grimm's heart. "I'll unlock your mother's magic that resides in you."
"Healing magic?"
He nodded, "And you promise to keep your word from earlier? About protecting Arya?"
She flustered up, "W-w-what."
"Yeah," he said softly.
"Then let it begin," cursed energy flowed into Grimm.
He wanted to scream, the pain was awful, but he ignored it.
Afterwards, Danny pulled his hand away, "That's the your mother's magic."
Grimm looked at his palm, he could use his dark magic, blood magic and now healing type. With this, he could protect those around him.
"Arya, are you ready?"
She froze, and slowly pointed at herself, "What do you mean?"
"I guess that's a yes," he placed his palm on both their chest and more cursed energy flowed through them.
The pain hurt horribly but Grimm ignored it.
On the other hand, Arya was tearing up and acting like a cat, clawing at Danny, "Why you," she said hoarsely, as her face teared up and she looked like a ballon, ready to pop. She gasped for air, as she held her breath.
"Now your souls are bonded," he looked at the both of them.
"Bonded?"
Arya fell to the ground. "That won't happen right?"
"Elrod, you'll be able to tell whenever Arya is in trouble, you'll be able to know where she is whenever."
"Wouldn't that mean our pain is shared?"
"Nope, I made sure not to do that."
"Then wh-"
Danny gave a thumbs up and a big smile, "Because champ," his smile widened, "A fathers role is to make sure their children don't regret...and copy mine," a sudden pain came to him. He was on his knees and he clutched his heart, "Peace out," he gave a passing hand sign. Then layed dead on the ground.
"Peace," Grimm sayed quiet to himself standing up. Looking at the others, Grimm took a deep breathe, "I'll bury him,.and we'll get to work soon."
"Dude, how could you ignore your fathers death," Puer tossed out his palm.
"I'm not," he said harshly."
Puer regretted his words, "Sorry."
Grimm looked at his palm. "We'll split up into three teams, I'll come up with soon, everyone enjoy yourselves for now."
"Hey pal, I dunno who made you lea-," Jack was slowly getting up but Treyala grabbed him. He looked at her.
"Jack, we know he'd be a better leader."
Grimm grabbed his father's body and placed it on his shoulder. Going outside, the others started to move about and such, Grimm proceeded outside. Outside, he was greeted by the twins, and a shovel. "You knew he was gonna do this?"
They nodded.
"Take this shovel," the girl handed it to him.
Grimm grabbed it, "Thanks." He placed his father's body against the side of the cabin, and began to dig.
The boy came to Grimm's side. "I owe your father everything...from what he told me, you weren't together long, but...he missed you and your brother everyday. That, and he was aan of his word."
Grimm let out a laugh, "Thanks kid."
Boy laughed, "Names boy, and my sister's name is girl."
She waved.
"So I saw you two were capable fighters, yeah?"
They nodded.
"Wanna tag along with us, I know your just kids, but with your eyes and how you fought, I can tell you've done this for awhile. Just saying n-"
"Yes!" They shouted in unison.
Grimm chuckled a bit, as he finished burying his father, "Be on your gaurd then, I'm not a babysitter afterall."
