Chapter 13 - Chapter 13 Mana? P1

A Mana Stone is relatively common in various stories, novels, animals, and mangas in worlds where magic exists. Many monsters roam the world with different magical beasts such as dragons, phoenixes, goblins, etc. The concept of Mana Stone was not rare, Akio when he had still lived in modern Japan, aside from being a genius in almost everything, he was a pretty avid reader of various forms of media such as manga, anime, and novels, which resulted in Akio being exceptionally knowledgeable in these types of tropes in fantasy stories with magic.

Although Akio didn't know the effects of the Mana Stone just yet, he still knew that it would have the high likelihood that would be similar to a controller for the Boar in using/activating the mana throughout its body, kind of like wands used by magicians in specific stories to channel their mana into the rod to conjure magic.

Or it could either be something like the Boar's magic source like some other novels, which would be pretty bad for Akio to discover if it is because other than that, Akio would again have to research the magic stone to find its actual use. With no authentic real-life experience in magical items, Akio would experience another roadblock in his goal to discover more magic.

But anyway, no matter what the function of the mana stone was to the Boar, it is still sure that the Mana Stone should contain a crystallization of mana in its core which would help Akio to at least be able to detect the mana in his body, by helping Akio at least successfully detect the man in the crystal more accurately, maybe with the use of his appraisal, which can maybe give Akio a good description in the mana stones uses and what he could do with it.

When Akio took a look at the shining red stone, he then quickly used his appraisal after he thought of the possible uses and effects it could have.

[Small Mana Stone x1]

Attributes: Fire

Rarity: Common

Durability: 200/200

An Item that can be acquired after killing a beast that can use magic in its body. An item that is filled with the purest form of mana the beast's whole body concentrating almost half of the beast's whole mana supply. The Uses of the Mana Stones is to allow someone to channel their mana through it to let out physical manifestation of the mana inside their bodies, however, along with being a core material in making staffs/wands that are used to channel magic, the attribute of the magic stone can affect the users magic by increasing the power output of the spell if the magic spell cast was the same attribute the magic stone.

So after Akio had read the description of the mana stone, he just nodded to himself as the result was close to what he had speculated before, about the possible uses of mana stone. And after seeing that aside from the meat as well as the mana stone, the boar's body was now quite useless for Akio at least, and despite him not caring about it he also identified that Boar's bones were tougher than normal so the bones would be great for crafting hilt for weapons, and even make a weapon out of them, so with the sack, he recovered from his tent earlier as well as his tools earlier he decided to just give the bones and some of the meat to his group later on, and tell them since they would be able to notice anyways that the boar had come from of the traps he had laid earlier in the forest, so they would suspect anything to what happened to him and why there were so many. bloodstains in the only clothes he currently had in the hunt.

After Akio had started eating the cooked meat of the Leader Boar which was insanely delicious even comparable to the A5 beef that Akio had been able to consume back then in Modern Japan from winning one of the competitions he had joined at. Although when Akio started eating the meat, at first he didn't feel anything happening to his body, that could imply it being strengthened after he ate almost a 10th of the whole nest of the boar alone, which is honestly an insane amount of food to eat all alone, He then quickly felt that his body had begun feeling lighter than ever before, his reflexes had been improved, along with other physical traits of his, but Akio didn't care about most of them, aside from the clear strengthening of his body who had a weak physique overall before.

Akio felt that his body was now relatively normal in the modern level of physique strength like most people in the pre-petrification era before. So even though he still wasn't quite there yet compared to his family in physical strength overall. This meat had helped Akio cure one of the most difficult parts of his life these last ten years of his life.
