Barefooted, my rushing steps brought me to a certain hallway among many in the mansion. With the sneers from a bunch of men as background noise, I would run and randomly pick rooms, but none of them were available to be my shelter.
It happened again. The moment I got out of Marvel's room, I became an easy target in this house and was either humiliated or hit, mostly both. I could feel the difference when Marvel still wanted me, nobody dared to touch me, but now I could be anyone's prey.
Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer - is this Marvel showing me that even though he doesn't really want me here anymore, I still can't escape? Constantly tortured, but not allowed to end my life just yet.
