An old man lying alone on the bed said to Marvel in his weak voice, smiling at him as soon as he spotted the young man walking into the wide bedroom that seemed wider with him by himself all the time.
Marvel walked into a bedroom that belonged to Adam Monner, Larysa's father, watching him longingly through his feeble eyes as if the crime boss was his long-lost son he hadn't seen for a long time.
"I look nothing like my father. You know that," Marvel smiled back, taking a seat on the seemingly prepared chair on the bedside.
Hearing Marvel's response to the comment, Adam weakly laughed.
"Right… Not your father, you're the exact copy of your grandfather, Marvel."
Larysa was watching by the door, smiling to see the scenery in front of her eyes, just enough to warm her heart, but before long, she closed the door from the outside and left the two.
