For the past two years, Marvel and I had been more than a boss and a secretary by doing that stuff and everything. It was all true. His sadistic cravings suited my masochistic tendencies - or should I say, the method I used to act subservient toward him.
I was a spy who went undercover to get close to him, to obtain what I wanted. I was nothing like those sincere subordinates who admired him and were loyal to him. I was never loyal to him. Never, from the very beginning.
I wouldn't say all my methods worked against him - there were some failures, of course. And he attacked me back, doubling it even. It was a vicious spiral.
But now, I will cut off that spiral.
