"David... Listen to me and don't hang up the phone." Sabrina stood up from her seat and clutched the phone tightly against her hands as soon as he picked up his phone. "I know I had been mean to you. I said hurtful things to you but... I want to repent. I want to get us back together and give it another chance." She heaves a sigh and squeezes her eyes shut.
There wasn't anything more convincing than to tell him about her actual feelings.
"David... I love you." She finally opens her eyes and a small smile spreads on her face. The feeling to openly speak about her feelings felt good. But the silence on the other end was strange and gave her goosebumps. "David... Say something? Why didn't you call me back last night?"
"Bitch..." A female voice echoes. Sabrina's eyes suddenly widen at the bluntness of the person on the phone.
She looks at her phone screen to make sure she dialed the right person and it was David. Then who was this woman speaking?
