"Alex, my superior who has encouraged me so much in such a short time. I really owe you an apology and respect you." Sabrina smiles turning towards the person standing behind the curtains and the camera focuses on him while she waves a hand in his way.
David was watching his phone's flashing screen and suddenly he slumps down on the bench. The hurt was back and the feeling of rejection was even greater. He remembered the kiss they shared and the memory was stinging holes in his head.
"Maybe it's over between us for good," David mumbles as he turns off the screen of his phone and gazes up in front at the empty street. "Good thing that Sabrina's started living well. Time waits for no one." David scoffs and stands up from the bench and starts walking away towards home lazily.
