"Maybe it was from the storeroom." Tom was the one who spoke.
"Let's go check it." Doris voiced.
There was a rattling sound at the door before it finally opened and a small beam of light strikes on Sabrina's face at which she squints her eyes.
"Oh, my baby!!" Doris lurches towards Sabrina, holds her in her arms, and sings her warm words while running her hand against her hair. "I am so sorry mama came so late. Oh, my baby!"
Tom quickly throws a woolen cloth around her after searching the storeroom and carries her out of that place.
Sabrina never talked about that incident again even after various inquisitions she just told she does not want to come to the mansion again and no one further questioned her despite the condition she was thrown into but respected her request.
