The left side wall to the bed had a small table attached with a chair. The wall was covered with fairy lights and colorful sticky notes, each having a quote written on it. The table had a few frames with pictures of Sabrina as a kid and others with her mother seemingly in her teenage phase, smiling at the camera fondly with her fingers raised in a victory sign.
"How long are you going to take to observe my room, David?" Sabrina asks, standing at the threshold of the room. "You know my mom is just two floors down and not on any other planet. She could come by anytime if she wants to."
"She won't anytime soon. I assure you that." David says, picking up the notebook that was left open on the table.
