"Hey, does everyone in my family knows about my condition?" David asks.
Eros gives a thoughtful nod of his head. "Probably. I brought you in all bandaged from the hospital but they acted as if they didn't see you and went back their own way."
"Of course.... What was I even expecting?" David shook his head, disappointment evident in his tone.
"So you really don't remember what happened last night?"
David shook his head. "I can't seem to recall anything."
Eros moves closer to him and puts a hand on his shoulder, reassuringly. "You'll remember. Just don't push yourself." David gives a weak smile to his response. "Alright, I better get going. Be sure to finish your soup when it's still warm after all it is not every day you get to be served by your step sibling so nicely." Eros winks at him, mockingly and David rolls his eyes.
"Thanks for your concern."
"Anytime. Call me when you need me."
"I will."
