Chapter 29 - Maid and a Mother

"Dad, you asked for me?" David's father turns on his chair and faces David.

"Where were you?"

"With a friend dad,"

"I've heard that much but why are you avoiding Katherine?"

"Did she tell you that?"

"Don't question when you are in a questioning state!" Paul's voice was stern as ever

"I am fed up with her."

"Don't toy with your life, throwing away things when they least go with your expectation is not how you deal with things."

"I am not toying with my life that is why I had to get away from her." Paul bangs his hand on his office desk and David slightly backs away, knowing that it's the first time his father has ever talked like that but in fact, he too had never voiced for himself before his father. He seemed to be a completely different person.

"Solve whatever the matter is going on between the two of you. I don't want to be the one to do it for you. You both are getting married this year. Don't cause a raucous for me."

"Dad, please listen to me first."
