Chapter 2
Percys PoV
Yesterday my friend, Jack, had invited his friends and me to his house. Jack has a huge Mansion were we often have party and fun. He also has a little Swimming pool were I often had to fight against some monsters. Because I have School tomorow I had to pack my things already in the evening to bring it ,later with me, to Jack. After lunch I said goodbye to Sally and Paul. And went to the garage to get my car a Ford Mustang which I got from my real father Poseidon at my last birthday. At 2 pm when I got to Jacks house, all the other friends of Jack were already there. His other friends were Marlon, Olivia (Jacks girlfriend), Peter, Justus and Verena. At first I greeted everyone and then we went swimming in the pool for about an hour. Every time when we swim we make a little competition, that I always win, because my father is Poseidon the god of the sea, which noone of the knows. Peter always asks me how I could be so fast, so I always say that I have been training since I was 6 years old, but he never belives me. The only other one how is nearly as fast as I am is Marlon and I do not know why. I have asked him several times but he always says that he does not know. After swimming we went into the house to get some food and snaks. Then we played Monopoly. After about an hour I and Marlon were out because we went bankrupt and Jack and Olivia were almost bankrupt too. The only ones who had much money left were Verena and Justus like always. Peter on the other hand had only his 6 cards and some money left. After about half an hour Olivia and Jack and Peter were bankrupt. Verena had 2/3 of the field and Justus had 1/3 but more money. Until he got on one hotel and went nearly bankrupt. After 2 rounds it was over and Verena had won like everytime. After that we went into the big bedroom and made our beds. Then we played truth or dare. Jack asks Olivia. Olivia says truth. Jack asks: "who do you love ?" Olivia answers: "You." Olivia asks Peter. Peter says truth. Olivia asks him: " What is the Sport you like most?" He answers: "Surfing". Peter asks me. I pick truth. He asks me: "If you have a girlfriend, what is her name ?" I answer: "Annabeth". After this says Verena: "This mut be a lie you have never shown us her or neither picture." The others agree on that. Then Marlon asks me: " Why did you not have had a date with any of the girls in our School, even if they all think that you are the most gorgeous guy ever alive. And why have you turned down every girl which asks you for a date." Now I was a little bit angry and said: " Why does nobody belive me that I have a girl friend ?" All the other answer me: " Because we have not seen her and know nearly nothing about her. We only know that you have met her in that strange camp were you every hollydays." After this I gave up and said that I want to go sleeping. And then everybody went to bed.
