However, the chaos occurred not just when their adamant objectives clashed, but the disarray could also emerge from within the same group. In a place such as this, nothing, no one, was ever truly safe.
"GRAAOOOHHH!!!"
A roaring, piercing cry spread throughout the horde as a large quadrupedal beast thoroughly covered in backward-facing, razor-sharp black scales, chased two nimble mice.
The beast's bizarre head, which had a pair of serrated horns above its deathly pale blue eyes, followed the movements of the mice with great vehemence, refusing to let them escape from its vision.
