This potential customer that Elise had to confront outside the store was irritatingly complex.

For starters, at a relatively young age, he held a fairly high position in the knight order which was acquired through constant efforts and not connection. This was a display of his honest devotion toward a goal, and he took pride in the achievement. Unfortunately, for reasons unknown, or maybe because his journey was too smooth without encountering a meaningful obstacle, these qualities sculpted an honestly prideful personality.

If not for the fact that Elise was the manager of a store and he was a customer that must be served, she would be better off not having anything to do with such an individual, life would be much more peaceful.
