"Alfraed, Shella, what were you two talking about?" asked Mikaela to the pair who finally joined them at the table.
"Business-related matter, sorry, I can't say more than that for now" replied Alfraed, politely putting his hands together as a gesture of apology. Meanwhile, Snow and Blaze climbed to his shoulders, reclaiming their favorite spot.
"It's confidential, I apologize" added Shella while slightly bowing, she too was not allowed to talk about it.
"Muuuu, alright, I won't ask anymore"
Mikaela puffed her cheeks, showing her dissatisfaction, an act that made the surroundings adore her more.
Fortunately, the gold ranker understood that seeking other people's work-related information was ill-mannered. Hence, she stopped questioning them.
That being said, Mikaela still could not deflect her curiosity and took a peek at Shella to spot any difference, she soon noticed it required no effort at all.
