Chapter 12 - Painstaking Cretins

__________CHAPTER EIGHT__________

HATHOR

~

Adeline Milkovich...well her last name should be Vermilion, to say the least, but considering the predicament of her mother's marriage that is most unlikely, in RHEA it is the kinou's who must change their last name's not the amazons they marry. Today the new royal family that governed over two tribes namely Helium and Zoldanga, are on a campaign to visit its neighboring tribes in hopes of gaining the patron goddess favor over their lineage "Hey Adeline." her younger brother Raios, bothered her whilst walking side by side with their parents on the tour around Xeris "Ugh, what is it again Rai?" she whispered to him, not wanting to earn a scolding from their mother later on as what the tour guide is spouting is going to be highly important for her in the upcoming years, once she inherits the throne, "I'm bored Addy, this tour is annoying."

Her brother's comment made the princess giggle and it did not escape the senses of their father who gave both of his children a side-eyed glance displeased with their manners, Raios hid behind his older sister as their father caught up with their mother who's in a deep focus listening to the tour guide spouting valuable information "I should have stayed home and played with Dobengal." the ravenette pouted and got on a piggyback ride with his sister "Come on Rai, it is not so bad being here in Xeris besides I heard from Mom and Dad earlier that they have great cuisine." upon hearing about the mention of food Raios had a gleam in his eyes "Really Addy?! I can't wait!" she caught up with their parents with her little brother on her back whose eager to taste the promised fine delicacy. "Pweh! ew! ew!" Raios spat out the nourishment given to their family it is a good thing that none of Xeris' citizens saw his disrespectful acts in the presence of food, food that they've specially prepared just for them.

"Raios!" their father yelled angered by the lack of discipline his child is displaying his commanding voice made the young raven stiff in his seat once again Adeline shielded--no defended him from their parents' rage "Dad, please don't yell at--" not being able to finish her words the kinou known as their Father used his talents on the crouching boy behind her who promptly tried to fight off the thick plant roots gripping his tiny body pulling him towards the older kinou whose glad that the kid isn't his firstborn child, once face to face with their father Raios spat the remaining residue of Xeris' cuisine in his face much to their Mother's shock. Raios has always resented his biological father growing up, ever since knowing the older kinou's true nature among those around them, hence in his eyes those who only truly cared for him are his mother, sister, and grandmother.

"If you don't want to swallow the food given to you then don't place it in your mouth in the first place."

"Dad please, let go of Rai!"

Two weeks after their visit to Xeris has long profused on and it is just a week away from their second tour around RHEA and Raios? the young raven boy was busy playing with Dobengal around Helium's palace grounds with his lovely grandmother watching over the two of them.

~

Madeline became the primary subject(guinea pig) to Faust's research in attempting to make her talents not only in equal levels but reshaped to resemble that of Milady's robust talents--which is Antiquity Yore most attempts to such lengths led most of their test subjects who dared try and learn it ended up withering away of old age and died with vast haste, the other half of the bunch became stuck in a cursed existence of look like a child who also died after twenty-four hours of being exposed outside, in an instant of observing experiment Raios never wanted more in his vile life to grasp time magic which is a phenomenon that is beyond impossible for him to attain since there can be one time mage per era that has walks around RHEA, which is why time mages are only born and never to be made. Wielding time is never an easy task to balance therefore if you don't you might tip off the wrong side of the iceberg if not careful.

"I cannot believe I am saying this but...as Queen of Lireo, I allow your request to be fulfilled, and once done with ridicule task both you and your daughter shall immediately leave my governed tribe or face the consequences." upon hearing Queen Minea's words, vast action was proclaimed to search for Madeline all over Lireo for everyone's safety. According to Dobengal his test subject of a daughter has gone missing for an entire week now an occurrence that Queen Minea never took notice of, due to the dilemma she's got herself wrapped up preparing three years worth of supply for Melancholia's yearly descent on RHEA's tribes, as a piece of both sacrifice and respect, all of the planet's citizens must remain in the comforts of their homes during the winter's six months course by day time and must rejoice in fits of lively festivity by night time after the first month of its arrival.

Before dispatching a group to hunt down Madeline, the pale-haired Queen called forth an urgent meeting the next day after the talk with Dobengal has come to an end, to her whole entire court discussing each unlooked matter of affairs Lireo's elite court was baffled seeing their benevolent queen become agitated upon learning that numerous inhabitants of Cobalt went missing at the exact time Dobengal had spoken of Madeline's escape from Helium. Scornful of her lack of attention and amount of trust she has given the brunette dragon the pale-haired queen herself took on her forgotten garb to capture Raios' crime against balance the following days after not getting a piece of single good news about Madeline's capture, as you've previously read earlier the reigning monarch of Lireo whiffed a small sample(portion) of Melancholia's winter breeze in order to calm down Dobengal and Porlyusica's arguing, therefore, her talent or should I say magic is called...

Seasonal a type of talent that is able to control and create RHEA's bizarre ecosystem in the palm of her hands, Queen Minea mastered such type of talent in order to help her late mother's inborn disease the very same one that Panacea cured and earned the title of RHEA's best physician. Cobalt one of Lireo's cities is about to witness Raios' ultimate crime against the nature of balance his governed tribe has been standing for thousands of decades is going to crumble right here and now at Lireo's lands, the incapacitated amazon hid in the city's outskirts munching on any unfortunate Jaromir, Amazon, and Kinou that caught her senses. Her humanity was replaced by that of an animal's mimicry when it has been completely starved from blood lust what Raios has done to his niece sadden's his formerly beloved older sister who now resides in Elysium once gaining the news about what happened to her child with Dobengal--her only child.

Why would the raven old kinou do such extreme lengths? the answer is simple honestly...he wants to be purely immortal who is incapable of dying, unlike everyone that's been living in RHEA that has been graced by immortal youth. Arguing that something like immortal youth won't be able to satisfy his desires to conquer all of RHEA for himself, as immortal youth comes with the downside of dying and prone to various illnesses and diseases not exactly an ideal life by its a take it or leave situation and Dobengal is gladly doing all of the Feathered Serpent's orders. Queen Minea dispatched fifty soldiers, Panacea, and two members of the Diamond Authority just for good measure that Dobengal would do exactly as she said at the end of the day, a condition that the brunette had agreed to in spite of disliking it.

In the following days, the number of missing people became increased making Queen Minea even more pissed off at the amount of trust she placed in that dragon, when the dead of the night came Lireo's reigning monarch took off on her own and slipped like the willow of the wind from her own soldiers/guards careful watch knowing that her only child Jellal, likely told them to watch her like a hawk but by being the queen she wasn't going to listen especially when she flat responsible for what happened to her people(well what do you know she's like a little child.) a fault that she doesn't want to be repeated again as the pale-haired amazon regretted her past choice in the previous era. If you take a normal route of transportation to Cobalt, it would take a minimum of four days and a maximum of five and a half days.

Queen Minea's journey took an entire night, making it exactly at dawn to pinpoint Madeline's last known location in Cobalt's area by asking the weather surrounding it "She's been consuming people either for nourishment or supplement." the pale-haired queen whispered to herself whilst tracing a few blood stains splattered all over the walls, the bone residue of her unfortunate victims are piled up in a corner like trash, some of it broken down into tiny pieces similar to that of a toothpick--a jaromir's blood contains vitamins that enriches RHEA's landmass and make its bodies of water purified for consumption, amazons have robust mana resource instilled in their bones it is what makes them insanely strong(an amazon's bones are hefty compared to that of any normal living being.) and lastly a kinou's skin and muscles are the ideal type to master the talent Brisk Bound hence it can withstand vast velocity.

That's the reason why Jellal's skin didn't rip apart into shreds when he raced back to Eirlys in a matter of minutes, Lapis road distance is 69.1 and a 39 km distance between the two cities, the viper pulse was also an added bonus to that. Seasonal users can freely converse with their home tribe's environment but conversing with RHEA's entire biome is never possible unless they went to an island called Convergence Point an island designated for Diamond Authority members as their base of operations, an island that stands on great equal balance over the seven tribes and an island that is also used to hold tournament battles (mostly for seasonal mages.) Crouching down near the pile of bones to get a closer look, Queen Minea had noticed that the victim's spine and joints are missing from the said pile, thinking to herself what could have Madeline done to the missing parts, before leaving she took three samples for later.

Lireo's reigning monarch got back up on her feet and wore her face mask before leaving the outskirts of Cobalts alley, to avoid getting swarmed by her people once making it to the plaza center, to either take a photo with her or thank her for how joyous their lives have been over the years of her being their queen. Such feeling warms her heart as it was the least she could do in order to atone for her past mistakes...that almost ended her life by invoking the help of an amazon whose name is means Mother Destroyer, but enough about that for now, therefore, I must focus on narrating the present narrative of this timeline. Upon making her way in the crowd of people the pale-haired monarch almost bumped shoulder with Dobengal, whose face is scrunched up in annoyance from the crowd of people blocking his way along with the two Diamond Authority members accompanying him.

Adding more fuel to the fire of the brunette's irritation, Queen Minea flicked her fingers whilst they rested on her sides creating a small amount of ice to freeze his left elbow before proceeding to move on forward with her back turned from their direction in search of the brunette's incapacitated daughter when the latter felt his limb had gotten numb from an unknown freeze he immediately paid vast attention to it by making his own blood run warm to try and melt the ice stricken limb of his, his unannounced actions made Pyxar and Helia stop in their tracks to make sure the dragon doesn't do anything brash yet again who's busy scanning his eyes around the place searching for anyone that could have used their talents on him and make them pay whomever they might be, he does not care either way.

Not seeing(finding actually) anyone capable of doing such acts, Raios' right-hand man decided to temporarily turn a blind eye on the matter hence the orders of his boss far more exceeds this retribution he wants to commit, but little does he know that it was a hint Queen Minea had inflicted on him, therefore, while she was making her way in the thick crowd she came into a conclusion of what Madeline has done to the missing parts of her unfortunate victims here in Cobalt and that is by using the deceased (murdered) spines and joints as materials to create a whip and sing the kinou's skin and muscle to solidify it.

The pale-haired monarch of Lireo mostly relied on her talents to locate Madeline hence she cannot ask anyone if they have seen an incapacitated amazon walking around as it could invoke sudden fear into their hearts, hence they've suffered enough already and the pale-haired monarch does not want to alarm them any further. In this penurious Era, only those living in Lireo have full advantage of their freedom while the rest of RHEA's tribes no longer own that very definition from their once capable witts. "Queen Minea~" the wind blew its soft whispers to the pale-haired Amazonian queen, who promptly replied "Yes?" to its call to converse and swap valuable information with her.

"I've found the incapacitated amazon you've been looking for, Your Majesty."

"Where is she?"

"From the direction, Dobengal had turned away from...that is where you will find his modified daughter lies dormant for now--unless her sense is bothered."

"Thank you, you've been of great help."

"We will always be of glad service to you my Queen."

Giving her thanks to the breeze of wind, she finally made it out of the crowded streets of Cobalt but before continuing on to cross she spotted a child who seemed to have gotten lost along with the bustle of this busy city, tightly clinging to his plushie (a corgi bread one) and has been crying for an hour now frantically searching for his mother to no avail at all. Not thinking twice to hesitate the pale-haired monarch walked in the child's direction offering time for sympathy, crouching down to his level asking him what might be the matter of his whimpers despite knowing why (duh it is obvious) but still asked him anyway hence she would come out as a total creep if she just went up and grabbed the child and returned him back to his parent with the added bonus of her wearing a long dripping coat and a mask covering half of her face that has a Jaromir's smiling features painted on it--she looks like full-on kidnapper I tell you.

"Hey, what the matter little one?" she asked the toddler who's got dried snot on philtrum and his tears falling none stop from his eyes "I was with Mama then when we'd made it out she w-was gone, she was j-just here--Mama!" the young kinou stifled in fits of tears in which turn Queen Minea had to calm him down "Shh, shh, don't cry okay, uh..." she trailed off pretending to be in deep thought "I don't know where might have gone but what about I help you find her?" she offered to the young kinou and smiled "R-Really? you'd do that for me?" such genuine nature is admirable "Yes," she replied, holding out her hand to the toddler introducing herself "I'm Isolde, and you are?" taking up a false name to avoid her popularity, truly this monarch is humble "Pitch, my name is Pitch." the child known as Pitch introduced himself to the disguised queen who was about to say something but the young kinou's grumbling stomach interrupted her.

"How long have you been standing here Pitch?" she asked Pitch who looked down on his feet due to embarrassment, "An hour..." pouting as he pointed a finger at the clock shop across the street that has a massive digital clock on display Queen Minea followed his pinpointing to look before turning her attention back to him, at the back of her head she wanted to rush on with her previous task of capturing Madeline but at the same time she couldn't leave Pitch all by himself when there's an incapacitated danger lurking around or else this young kinou might become her next unfortunate target "Say Pitch, how about I buy you something to eat first then we'll go on and search for your mother, sound good?" the young kinou nodded to her as a response, as the pale-haired queen carried him in her arms to avoid the earlier accident of him getting separated and lost.

While Queen Minea is occupied in helping the young kinou locate his beloved mother, let's take a look at Panacea's (and the five soldiers that are with her) side of things in the matter of locating Madeline, whose been using a holo photo of the blonde amazon in asking Cobalt's citizens if they happened to see her by any chance to which turn they responded with:

"I'm sorry but no."

"Goodness no."

"Is she related to you?--sorry but no, I did not see her."

"Sorry no."

"Sorry I haven't."

"Sorry madam but no, I haven't seen her."

"Apparently no sorry, but I do hope you find her."

Taking a quick snack break in the unprogressing search, Panacea treated herself in the nearby bakery she passed by earlier, to a cup of tea and some baked goodies at the counter before finding herself a good seat to relax upon this fiasco Dobengal weighed on their busy lives especially the old pinkenette but learning that Madeline is her grandaughter isn't a bad thing either...but learning that Dobengal is her father annoys her beyond repose. Once finding a good spot near the glass panel wall she took a minute max glance at Cobalt's busy streets whose citizens swarmed everywhere to accompany their daily jobs and businesses, thinking to herself about how well Queen Minea has governed Lireo over the years of her rule as queen of RHEA's third tribe.

Despite the ill ways Raios had tried to sabotage her, the pale-haired monarch still managed to come out on top of his heinous schemes, whose exterior seemed unnerved by the inflicting hazards. After her attempts in refreshing herself, Panacea ordered an additional five avocado and tuna wraps for those soldiers that have been accompanying her in the past days of this never-ending search for her granddaughter, contacting them via galva to meet up outside the bakery to take a break and while on it they shall discuss what intel they've gathered in their search around Cobalt. "Dowager Vermilion!" one of the soldiers called out to the old pinkenette, via rank to catch her attention, ever since Panacea or should I say Grandine abdicated from the throne of Zoldanga, she was referred to as dowager by RHEA's citizens. "Ah, finally. Here eat up you've all earned it for helping me." she distributed the five subsistence viaticum to them who did not forget to thank her for such graces "Thank you."

"So what did you find?"

"When I've shown them Madeline's holo photo to them most responses are no."

"Same here."

"It's weird though hence, Cobalt's people are way too calm about this."

"That because Dowager Vermilion, we believe in our Queen's promise."

"I know, I know."

"The ones we've asked have a different answer."

"Let's hear it."

"Most of them said that they've seen her fighting either, an amazon, jaromir, and a kinou."

"Those I've asked did say that her face is kinda familiar but they can't pinpoint where."

"Coincidences might a line since Madeline has been seen multiple times in the past years following my first granddaughter Ultear, around when she was still working for her."

"Hold on."

"What is it?"

"If they've seen Madeline fighting someone, why weren't they compelled to stop nor help those she's been beating up?" upon hearing the deduction made by one of the soldiers Porlyusica placed a finger on her lips, staying silent for a bit as she's deep diving in her thoughts, therefore you see ever since the three tribes Sinope Myrina, Ephesus Cyme, and Pygela Magnesia have been divided into seven different zones, most of RHEA's inhabitants no-longer remained constant in training themselves to fight for their own individual selves and instead took up to live like normal humans that resided on the planet their ancestors left (its Earth) to start anew here in RHEA by losing the true concept of their heritage gave people like Raios advantage to abuse it. The remaining few of this lot preserved their legacy, and today the numbers are still few. Those numbers include RHEA's force of battalion at arms, those who took up talents...and estranged amazons who became weary, and undaunted by their 'treacherous' ancestors(--well in their eyes.)

As Madeline now established her existence into the bigger picture of things, the gambit is now set to begin. While sitting down at the fountain across the bakery deeply engrossed in their topic, Panacea and company failed to notice Queen Minea's familiar presence enter the pastry shop who's wrapped up chatting with the child whose name is Pitch "In that case..." Porlyusica blurted out "Rest up, for now, you'll need it for later." she told them whilst their busy munching on the nourishment she has given them promptly looking at her with confusion as to why she told them to rest, seeing their confused emotion plastered among their faces the old pinkenette physician placed a fist on her palm, beginning to explain such ideas she has come up with "We've been having no utter chance in luck by searching in broad daylight for the past days, so starting at nightfall today, is the best time to search for Madeline--when Cobalt's citizens have finally piped down in the comforts of their homes." amazed by her plan they applauded her hence Cobalt's already completely deserted even before nightfall comes.

Circling around to the brunette known as Dobengal Arius, people practically avoided him whenever he tried to have a word, ask a question nor strike a conversation with them, such perks of being Raios' right-hand man with the added fact that he was also banned from ever setting foot in their tribe, left the brunette with no other options (choice) but to be shunned by everyone he encounters. In most cases, something like this wouldn't bother him all too much but this time around, when it starts to get in the way of his extremely valuable work--it pisses him off beyond eternal repose.

He was sort of thankful? that there were two members of the Diamond Authority with him or else his pursuit of Madeline would have no progress at all, it was a smart move on Queen Minea's part, after all, none of her subjects would even bother to look at him in the slightest unless he causes a ruckus that is only when they'll strangle him to get out--such terrible thing right? well...no the brunette all in himself is a terrible thing so he wholeheartedly deserves it in whatever odd angle to look at it. Everyone doesn't have enough middle fingers to curse this kinou, same with the fact that no one can remain a prisoner in this era's idlest vile cage.

Queen Minea on the other hand had to buy the viaticum Pitch wanted at Cobalt's best pastry shop, saying that someone there might be able to help them find her mother since she delivers the stocks they need most of the time and such information was a relief to Lireo's reigning monarch when the amazon managing the cashier register immediately recognized Pitch, who she has been carrying in her arms "Pitch?! is that you?--sorry I don't mean to be rude but, who are you, ma'am?" the cashier girl asked Queen Minea whose completely unrecognizable in her disguise "Oh please, I assure you none taken." the pale-haired monarch replied smiling "She's helping me locate Mama!" he beamed at the cashier girl, it is a good thing that no one was standing in line behind them or they might have raged as to what's taking them so long to spout out an order.

"Speaking of your mother, she was here a while ago retracing her steps looking for you Pitch."

"Then we should probably just wait here, in case she comes back around."

"Uh, I suggest you don't actually."

"Why is that?"

"In case you forgot every shop here in Cobalt closes up before 4:00 pm and it's already 12:32 pm, I'd be better if you take your time looking for Pitch's mother rather than wait here."

"Sorry I forgot, I haven't been back for so long that I forgot our city's rounds."

"It's alright, tourists also get the same type of astonishment."

"Do you happen to know which ranch she works for? maybe we'll find his mother there."

"Oh yeah sure, Give me a minute to find you a holo map and I'll have it given to you when your order arrives--btw that'll be 105.00 Cyhea, thank you!" sitting down on the middle spot of the pastry shop, Queen Minea and Pitch ate their ordered nourishment, the holo map promised by the cashier girl came along with the food. Since it'd be kinda awkward to the young kinou if he's the only one eating so earlier while on their way here the monarch agreed to his wishes hence the clouds told her it'd make Pitch happy and so she did, the young kinou and her chatted about random things until they've finished, not forgetting to thank and wave goodbye to the amazon that helped them on their way out of the fine establishment.

Apologizing to Lireo's biome, she relied more on their directions rather than the map, why? because the pale-haired monarch is lacking in enough height to even see the right way in this thick crowd of people, get out of the first bunch took them thirty minutes and time was running out. In her pondering, she wiggled her left fingers without the young kinou knowledge, opting to have the biome help her but before it did, Porlyusica's plans that she discussed with the five soldiers earlier has now relied upon the pale-haired Amazonian queen.

"What is it?"

"Dowager Vermilion has concocted a plan to capture Madeline to those soldiers accompanying her, by switching up their search when nightfall comes as no luck has struck them during the day, they've already informed the forty-five soldiers that are not with them via galva, the plan has already been received by Dobengal's team."

"That's good to hear."

"Will you participate in tonight's activities, Your Majesty?"

"I'd be a shame if I didn't, hence Porlyusica does have a point and it's also best for Cobalt's citizens as none of them would get hurt in the occurrence of the fight."

"I'll keep an eye out for any events, Your Majesty."

"That would be most helpful thank you."

So instead of walking all the way to the ranch where Pitch's mother works, Queen Minea used her talents to summon a cloud big enough to fit both her and Pitch who was amazed at such a display of talents. Once flying in the air out of Cobalt's perspective the paled-haired monarch took off her face mask bewildering the young kinou even more, that the amazon helping him all this time, was none other than their beloved benevolent Queen "Y-Your M-M-Majesty!" he exclaimed, the wind blowing against his skin "Shh." she smiled placing a finger on her lips in which turn the little boy nodded still in shock that it was Queen Minea. The reason why Lireo's monarch finally reveal her identity to the little kinou is simple really, I mean if it was you in Pitch's position you would also like to know the person who helped you as her fake introduction isn't really her in the first place, I gotta say it was quite beguiling since Queen Minea did use her epithet--Isolde meaning ice ruler.

"Touch down here Your Majesty." the wind advised her, who promptly did as it said carefully slowing down as to not crash down Cobalt's pavements, that has been built during the time of her late mother's reign as Lireo's Queen. The back of Pitch's mother was facing them as she was conversing with her fellow works mates who aided her in search of her missing son since this morning before the floating cloud dropped down on the pavements the pale-haired monarch once again wore her mask and hood to avoid getting noticed by her people, the employees immediately noticed a talent user descent the front yards of their ranch alongside Pitch whom they assumed at first glance had kidnapped him due to her ominous appearance so by pure instinct they picked up their shovels, rakes, fork, spade, hoe, hedge shears, axe, sickle, pick mattock, hammer, etc it'd take me a long time to fully describe all of the tools and started striding towards her.

Thinking that she may have come here for ransom, as Queen Minea got off first she helped Pitch got down safely on the ground hence the young kinou is even more of a midget than she is, (relax he's still young) before the employees of the ranch could gang up on her Pitch ran towards the direction of his beloved mother who was completely startled of what happened just now the same relations goes for her co-workers, the pale-haired queen smiled at the flabbergasted amazon who looked back down on her son "Queen Mi--Isolde helped me find you, Mama!" seeing a happy expression plastered on her son's face the woman known as Pitch's mother nodded to her comrades to put down their tools as she carried her son in her arms just like Queen Minea did, walking towards her in gratitude of returning her offspring.

Now standing face to face in front of the pale-haired queen she kinda embarrassed, therefore Pitch's mother is a big lean woman whose height is 6'1 while the latter stands at 5'ft exact "Thank you." her voice was rugged and harsh similar to that of an old kinou "Your welcome." if the elite court of Lireo could see how their Queen is looking up to a commoner they would instantly judge the tall amazon (they're kinda like the council, in a way), offering Pitch's mother a sincere smile as she got back up on the cloud leaving to continue on with her original intent here at Cobalt. "What is Pitch's last name?" the pale-haired queen asked the cloud she's riding hence she forgot to ask the young kinou early on but "Umeko, Your Majesty," she repeated the name in her scape, remembering it for future events.

The darkness of night continued on but there are still no utter signs of Madeline' being lurking around for them to catch Porlyusica and her team waited around the houses, Dobengal paraded each nick and alley possible, Pyxar accompanied the ten soldiers in scanning the area, Helia kept watching above the buildings and the rest of the soldiers loitered Cobalt's highways. Queen Minea however still hasn't made her presence known to them choosing to keep it that way until it becomes necessary hence they might think that she has no trust in them if she just popped out in front of them all willy-nilly, she listened to what Lireo's biome had to say in the meantime "Waiting around isn't doing them any good right now especially at this darkness of night, Your Majesty." the cloud was kinda right since Cobalt's nighttime is indeed dim beyond repose the main reason why nobody wants to get out at night.

Since those incapable of using any talents are bound to walk like a blind person at this rate of state "She's incapacitated, it is bound to livid no matter what." the pale-haired Amazonian queen looked like she's watching a dramatic play unfold in front of her "Well in Dowager Vermilion's head it's supposed to progress on smoothly." oh no, haha--no not a chance as strangling a permutated amazon, is 100% granted to cause major problems than you might expect, upon hearing the cloud say that Porlyusica's plan is going to progress smoothly in her expectations it awoke a distant memory in Queen Minea, of a close friend and comrade who's been deceased for a long time. Unwilling stuck in reminiscing the past memory the pale-haired monarch failed to notice heeding warnings being said out by the cloud she's sitting on.

"Your Majesty, Your Majesty!" the cloud's voice finally managed to rang inside her scape as she snapped back to the matter at hand, placing a hand on her temple she heaved a heavy sigh letting of the memory just like it used to be. While everyone was busy holding trying to hold down Madeline the pinkenette old woman was exasperated upon how she couldn't form any sensory link between her and the blonde amazon, Dobengal finally arrived at the chaos of things standing side by side RHEA's greatest physician who's struggling in her work whilst the brunette smirked in the victory of Faust's brilliant work on his daughter "Fascinating, isn't it? she's like a living fang walking." Porlyusica gave an angered side-eyed glance in the midst of her struggling "Just do your part." the brunette smiled pulling out the stored blood from his stash creating a sphere out of it to capture his oh-so-beloved incapacitated daughter.

Not saying a single warning to those soldiers holding down Madeline, the dragon dropped the red sphere--killing them in the process, Porlyusica yelped a protest upon what the vile dragon had just done, the blood sphere remained quietly still in the outside but in the inside of it all, Madeline mangled those with her "Now I'll be leaving." the brunette pocketed both of his hands striding towards the old pinkenette woman "Good then, the breeze would finally become less toxic." upon saying such words the blood sphere exploded, with blonde vastly striking Porlyusica to be out of commission due to shock the old woman wasn't able to react a defense, the impact had her being thrown over the next ten blocks, Dobengal received the same treatment when he tried to reason with his daughter to calm down and that he was there to help her, but with Madeline having such scrambling scape he ended up with a broken arm.

Queen Minea on the order hand, almost jumped off the cloud but Lireo's biome halted her by saying that it would complicate things if she joined in the brawl this early, hence if Madeline senses stronger opponents surrounding her, it is most likely for her to rampage on killing not only Porlyusica and the rest but also her--and if Queen Minea dies from this...it would give Raios the opportunity of a lifetime. An example of the biome's warning was made when both Pyxar and Helia arrived at the scene fusing together (yes, they could do that despite missing a few members) to overpower the incapacitated amazon, and that on its own was unimaginable beyond repose as Fusions are the strongest weapons RHEA has to offer and Madeline was able to leap in just one take to strangle them using the DIY whip she created from her unfortunate victim.

Once the biggest threat to her has been dealt with, she took her time in playing with the remaining soldiers. Porlyusica got back on her feet and started running back in her granddaughter's direction on her way she encountered Dobengal whose about to slam his broken arm back into place, honestly she couldn't care less about the brunette but the instincts of her profession made their way to her mouth saying the unthinkable to this dragon by yelling "Don't do that you fool! you'll only damage it further than it already is!" snapping his head on the old woman's direction with his brows furrowed as to why she just expressed worry over his current state "Why should I listen to you?" he slammed his broken arm on the nearby concrete post his bones cracking up making Porlyusica bit the inside of her cheek on much worse of a state his arm is now in, thinking to herself that such idealism must have come from Smoking Mirror since she was the only amazon whom she knows that does such things. Seeing that her advice was disregarded she went on her way back to the incapacitated blonde.

The last five soldiers (and yes they are the very same bunch that Porlyusica had treated earlier) stood proud to face the blonde, openly welcoming death if it is truly due today nevertheless before Madeline could slaughter them Queen Minea aimed her talents on the blonde's limbs as it needs to be cut off to prevent her from grasping the DIY weapon any further, gritting her teeth in anger Madeline still opted to scramble like a worm while her limbs began to regenerate at an excruciatingly slow pace and attacked the pale-haired monarch, making use of her mouth to use the whip to wound her opponent to which turn she successfully managed to do as it left Queen Minea with a huge gash on her left thigh that breathed blood, that had a faint smell of metal in them such wound limited the pale-haired monarch's movements to what she originally had planned and she has to make use of this liability right now.

Seeing that the pale-haired midget is weakened, Madeline smirked to herself as it was the perfect timing to dethrone Queen Minea via murder right in front of her own soldiers, the incapacitated blonde wrapped her whip body around her opponent's neck with its edges scratching her porcelain skin that is as cold as winter when you touch it, her limbs now restored back...one more step that's all it took for Lireo's reigning monarch to turn the tables in her favor by firstly freezing her self made weapon breaking in apart by a flick of her fingers, secondly entrapping the blonde's body in autumns falling orange leaves and lastly collared her neck with the same bounded air she had previous placed on Dobengal's neck. For precautionary measures of any possible retaliation, Queen Minea sewed the blonde's lips together using the leaf's branches.

When Porlyusica finally got back she saw Queen Minea's figure standing beside her defeated granddaughter with the sun rising behind her indicating Cobalt's new start for the day, quick on proclaiming actions the pale-haired Amazonian queen created a barrier around the bloodshed coursing around the highway. It's a good thing that reinforcements from the city's crime prevention came before any of Cobalt's citizens could stumble around the dead bodies scattered around the highway, Porlyusica called them just in time while she was busy running back. Such gruesome sight some of Cobalt's citizens became curious and tried their best to take a look at what has transpired, an ambulance arrived no long after to collect the deceased and treat those injured, while the crime prevention staff had people leave the scene immediately, a vehicle arrived an hour later to escort both Madeline and Dobengal out of Lireo. Still not satisfied with the blonde's current state Queen Minea placed her inside an ice block alongside her chopped-off limbs.

On the way back to Eirlys a few days ago, Porlyusica was busy treating herself as she refused any medical attention from those in Cobalt saying that she'll be fine and she was hence she wouldn't be RHEA's greatest physician if she can't cure nor treat herself before anyone could take notice she was able to get back on her daily routine a week after the incident at Cobalt, the old pinkenette woman was also able to treat Queen Minea's wound on her left thigh without leaving any scars behind as a reminder...something she inherited from her late queen mother. Due to the shift in balance, RHEA's officials have been called forth to discuss future possible predictions of the planet's profusing periods, the pale-haired monarch had chosen to hold the agenda at the safety and comforts of her own palace, hence summoning the planet's shittiest group of living beings is like bargaining a dicker with the personification of vice.

While the higher-ups in Lireo's court are dealing with such manners, the old pinkenette physician distanced herself from ever meeting the visitors coming to the palace today and busied herself in charting the state of her most important patient--which is Milady before she takes a break to eat lunch, while lightly tapping her pen on the clipboard she's holding her eyes scanned her thirty-four-year-old raven-haired granddaughter a wave of both annoyance and pity washed over her whispering to Milady's unconscious form with gritted teeth "Snap out of it already, damnit." taking off her eyeglasses while I levitated myself at the footboard of the king-sized bed "Do you really want to eat alone at the dining hall Grandine?" I asked her as she heaved a sigh pocketing her glasses "Etiquette is what it is, nourishment mustn't be indulged at the presence of my work that's just rude."

The old amazon stood up from her seat beside Milady leaving the clipboard on the nightstand for later, smoothing out her long skirt before proceeding out the door. Once she walked down the halls I turned my attention back to Milady, as I was the only one left to watch over her for today with everyone being incredibly busy with the matter at hand of Madeline's blood relation to RHEA's most prestigious royals, measuring if she is eligible enough to stature alongside the truth that has been trampled over by so many deceiving grudgeful lies. The details of her ascension to Zoldanga's throne are quite bleak, to say the least, hence there are two other amazons on the line-up that could possibly inherent it more than her, despite being the daughter of Grandine's firstborn child, hence I can see the two candidates breaking the firstborn conformity.

~

Deterred by her family's social standing in RHEA, Adeline had no one to call nor talk to when her emotions are taking play over her teenaged life. Each and every time she steps out of the palace people gossip about how gracious it is that she has diaphanous genes, but lacks the company she needed wherever she goes rumors spread no matter what acts of goodness she does--as if fate refuses her to be happy due to the sins of her parents among the natural balance of RHEA. As she walked around the palace grounds two of her handmaiden following three steps behind her as her head hung low in dejection, she spotted her younger brother and his friend named Dobengal Arius fool around carefree of any worry, she felt somewhat envious of what she's seeing where she has to act all composed with grace whenever she's around people. Later on that day, Adeline isolated herself in the garden's gazebo, refreshing her shaky scape back up in complete silence, unknown to her a young kinou picked up the tossed ball that landed nearby the tall hedges hiding the gazebo within them. The brunette kinou took notice of her presence sitting inside the gazebo, looking at her for a good minute before hesitantly heading back out to his friend.

"Mom..." Adeline talked under her breath as her mother, Dejah brushed her daughter's wavy locks by the fireplace humming as a response to the young amazon "Why do RHEA's citizens hate me that much?" upon hearing the words come out of her daughter's lips Dejah heaved a sigh placing the brush down "And what made you think that Addy?" massaging the young amazon's shoulder blades in efforts of easing her worries away, as the white-haired mother read her daughter's mind seeing nothing but pure sadness washing over her scape "No one wants to be friends with me and whenever I leave the palace people, turn to each other to gossip about me." Dejah knew what her husband did was against the law but she still supported him in spite of knowing what consequences it could give their children in the future time.

"That is not true sweetie, they're just...captivated by you is all." Adeline remained unmoved by her mother's assurance as she is no longer a little child who can be fooled nor bribed by false hope--she was old enough to know which was true and which were lies. It hurt her upon how her mother still lied to her when she could all the mishaps circulating around their family "O-okay." was all she had to say before turning to hug her mother who gladly returned said gesture back.

Sure enough, within a few days, Adeline was putting more effort into making her new paintings look scenic, despite the protests of her brother to instead paint a knight holding a sword in its hands and it was obvious that she struggled to finish the art properly as Raios constantly shook her arms to change it "There it's done!" satisfied with her work Adeline picked up the canvas out of the easel placing in in the other side of her atelier, alongside all her works through the years "Addy! come on paint another one!" the grumpy raven demanded to his older sister holding one of her paintbrushes, Adeline simply giggled at how adorable he's being just because she didn't paint what he wanted "Okay, okay, jeez." she pulled a brand new canvas out of the cabinet placing it on the easel "Yey!" the raven cheered sitting down on his chair watching his sister paint.

Well instead of paint a knight the Milkovich siblings ended up throwing paint at each other causing a huge mess. In the euphoria of fooling around the door opened at the most unfortunate time causing the person standing there to be slapped with a flying can of paint, causing the said person to be covered in its unremovable pigment clearing their throat to get the siblings attention who promptly stopped laughing seeing who it was standing at the doorway "We are sooo sorry." Adeline blurted placing both of her hands on her mouth, try to suppress her laughter "Yeah." was all Raios had to say and chuckled awkwardly "Imprudent children." Imperial Topaz whispered to himself as he wiped his hands hoping to get rid of the sticky liquid off but to no avail at all, the kinou was well respected by RHEA's citizens due to him being part of the Council but these two seemed to have thrown that to the trash in his current thoughts.

"Both of your presences is being required at the throne room." the official began with gritted teeth unhappy with how ill-mannered the royal brats (as he would say it) are being "Get. changed." he ordered both of them before leaving to clean up himself hence he looked like an utter joke as of the moment, once Imperial Topaz was out of earshot Adeline and Raios looked at each other laughing "Get changed~" Raios waved his hands around making fun of the older kinou that bossed them "Shut up Rai." she playfully punched his arm "Come on let's go, we wouldn't want Mom to get angry cause we're late." taking off her paint-stained apron and laid it down the stool before leaving her atelier "Whatever you say, madam." Raios teased bowing down like a butler to his sister "Idiot."

Adeline rushed towards the throne room in a hurry, as she gotten carried away in picking out her outfit completely forgetting the time, Raios made it in time before everyone started arguing, informing his older sister via galva to hurry. Upon reaching the ajar doors to open them only to halt midway upon hearing that they were talking about her and it made her entire being shake in fear. Hence she never wanted to be hated by everyone "Your daughter will be forfeited of her rights as a princess if she does not find a suitable kinou to marry." one of RHEA's officials voiced out his opinion of the matter, in pure instinct Dejah defended her daughter "She will marry when in time when she wants to, you cannot force it into her."

"Oh the irony, remember Dejah if we haven't interfered with your lives you wouldn't have been Empress of not only Helium but RHEA as a whole ."

"That would have been better."

"Are you challenging our authority?"

"Oh I'm sorry, you had authority?" Raios cannot help but laugh alongside Dobengal at their clap backs, only to shut up momentarily when his father, Ren Milkovich stared daggers at them before speaking up on the matter himself "It is common knowledge, that RHEA's previous queens did not need a king to rule by their side at all." Dejah smiled at her husband's words, and so did Adeline...as the chances of her finding and having any possible suitors were literally bleak so she wouldn't be all too surprised that RHEA's officials are suggesting to pull the strings to make it happen.

"That statement is nothing but bygone of an old era Ren, the times have long changed."

"And you people haven't."

"Someone has to be rational."

"Oooh, indeed."

"And look at how that very arrangement you've conducted ruined four people's lives."

"It was set in stone, you all know that we cannot allow a princess to be in a union with someone who isn't from her tribe or more importantly someone who migrated into another continent."

"You made that up."

"Excuse me?"

"If that were true then why are my sisters in a union with someone who isn't from Zoldanga? admit it you just wanted to ruin their lives."

"We intended no such things."

"You accuse us of such brash nonsense."

"Hence it is true, did you just forget? my talent allows me to read what your minds say and you are all lying--and deeply denying the truth of what you did to Lireo and Aulora."

"You have no proof!"

"Oh believe me I do. It's all up there in your scape." Dejah tapped her own temple indicating their memories, Ren was amused as he watched his wife and officials of RHEA argue back and forth a small smirk evident at the end of his lips, unable to help himself to comment at their bickering.

"You people should opt to be more hilarious like this, hence it gives life to this little boring agenda."

"Quit acting like a child, hence if you do not take this matter seriously then--the rebellion would finally reclaim that power the both of you have." Ren smirked to himself at the empty threat his expression darkening "I will stay Emperor for as long as I want." all the residing flora decorating the throne room uptook a sense of careful danger, its thorns slowly slithering in Grand Ma Doma's neck fear beginning to etch in her features, the raven-haired emperor made them tremble a little bit more before retracting his talents away from them proposing a deal with them regarding his firstborn child's predicament "I'll strike you a deal." he began making sure they listen and listen well, Dejah listened to her husband's words closely incase she disagrees with whatever fate he indicates upon Adeline, who's also awaiting her father's decision upon her forsaken life, she did not dare to enter the throne room, knowing that if she did it would just put her in an awkward position by listening to them talk about her while she's sitting there looking down at her feet in shame of it all.

"If Adeline does not still have an understanding, nor a child by the time she is in her twenties...Raios will take her place as my heir instead." the Council did not dare argue with Ren hence they favored Raios more than his older sister Adeline in the first place seeing her as someone who lacks potential in becoming queen if she cannot even have anyone accompany her except for her lowly servants who follow her around all her life, Raios was at a loss for words hearing his own father considered him a possible heir despite the older kinou repeatedly telling him all these years that he is not worthy of owning it. Adeline choked back her own tears upon hearing a heavy judgment be upon her in the next following years, she opted to run back in the comforts of her chambers as the conversation continued on within the vicinity of the throne room.

"Deal."

"What? No!--Ren think about this-"

"I know what I'm doing Dejah."

"We've come to an agreement already, Queen Dejah." one of the Council members mocked her

"I did not agree in this."

"I did," Ren spoke up his tone daunting, something that made Dejah's brows furrow in defiance of how he could disregard his own daughter just like that.

As the years profused on she was now 19 years old yet Adeline's tedious life remained but the same much to her parent's dismay, hence Ren certainly did not want her to be replaced by his irksome son. Who had more luck in him than his eldest sister ever had, with the deadline of her predicament fast approaching it had Adeline become desperate beyond repose no longer caring if it had to be arranged or not and it was something that made the Council members pat themselves on the back for inducing such ideas into her, as it gave them another chance to upbrought drama even so it is already being induced on the outside locations of Helium's palace--the Autarchy War.

A war that would decide RHEA's future era, a war that ruined people lives, a war that came about due to hate--hate that boiled up from the false sense of supposed facts, that there would be a sense of loyalty when it comes to family but hubris chooses those haughty of it, different people vary upon how they crack, regarding the situation they've been put in. The most significant example to put up right now is none other than Paragon herself, an amazon who's been feed all her life by the un-ending fallacy that she too will inherit a part of her mother's legacy when she passes on from life here on RHEA. When the time did come to disperse it she received none of it...and it made her crack to the exaltation point that she almost murdered her youngest sister in front of all of RHEA's aristocrats if it wasn't for Seilah interfering the killing blow.

Only a few elites dared to try and form an understanding with Adeline, but in the end, they weren't all that interested in commuting to it hence they did not like the idea of being forced into something they don't like and Adeline was one of those and it made the Council's opinion of her, even more, worse than before, as they now completely vouched for Raios to take her place instead--calling her a useless princess, who's incapable of anything but making people hate her and nothing more. Raios, on the other hand, became incredibly smitten with his mother's second sister, who is his aunt--Evergreen Thoris Vermilion and it is something that is clearly not right, now I know what you are thinking maybe it is just admiration or a simple crush? it'll go away, haha--no he's been deeply captivated by her beauty. Grandine became disgusted by his incestuous affections hence he is only a teenager while Evergreen is near her 30's already and she is married to an elite kinou named Hyacinth. His grandmother to his father however was amused by this fascination he had towards Evergreen and pursued him to take action upon it.

While munching on some snacks outside the palace balcony while catching up on some homework given to her by her father, Adeline noticed that one of her handmaiden's stomachs growl in hunger as they waited for her to finish so they could clean up "Here." she offered a sandwich, but her handmaiden kindly refused the offer even if her gut disagreed with her Adeline insisted offering it again a second time in which her handmaiden meekly took "T-thank you." she said before slowly taking a bite off the gifted sandwich "Your welcome." the white-haired princess smiled, returning back to her homework. Little did the princess know that all of their servants are nearly starving to death behind closed doors and that they only choose to serve their family out of fear, and it was something that did not have great value nor assurance that if given the chance, they would instantly betray their masters.

The days went on by like that until both her handmaidens became used to her giving them whatever she ate during the time of her self study, to the point that they almost looked on par with her status in life--they became friends in a way, and it was something that the guards spoke of when their grandmother asked about how her eldest grandchild is doing, wanting to know that she wasn't slacking off and upon learning that her granddaughter is making nice with a few lowlifes had her grimace beyond repose. The following week, Adeline was dumbfounded upon seeing her grandmother return so early from her work--work that concerns slaughtering and dealing with a few rebels who just won't calm down their rage of taking back what the Milkovich family has stolen from them "Grandmother! what made you come back so early?" the white-haired princess immediately stood up from her seat upon seeing the elderly woman stride her way in her direction, who promptly eyed the two cowardly handmaiden sitting opposite of her granddaughter, who did not dare look up to her due to instilled fear of certain death.

"Not much to kill," she began darting her eye between Adeline and the two handmaidens "What do you think you're doing befriending these cretins?" Adeline fidgeted with the skirt of her dress not really knowing what to say to her grandmother hence she never really had any friends before, to begin with, and she was torn in whether to defend them or not "I...I..I was-" stuttering in words the redhead amazon became impatient "Well?!" the bloodied weapon hanging on the hips of her grandmother was not helping her relax at all "T-they we're hungry s-so I thought m-maybe I'd give t-them something t-to eat...a-and--!" before she could finish the red-haired amazon pulled out her weapon pointing it straight at her handmaiden asking a well precedent question "Do you know basic combat?" both of them shake their heads indicating no for an answer "Can you use any talents?" once again they shook their heading another answer that disappointed Adeline's grandmother.

"Get out...GET OUT OF MY SIGHT! all of you imbeciles!" she yelled at Adeline's handmaidens and the guards standing by to protect the princess of RHEA's tribes, once they've all left the red-haired amazon turned back her attention to her eldest grandchild "Come here, dear." she motioned for Adeline to come closer who was quite hesitantly but still acted to what she wanted hence she knows that her grandmother could and would never do anything to hurt her in the first place--their family after all. As Adeline walked towards her the armor soaked in blood garb quickly changed into that of a glorious refined dress with the help of her talents, that was carefully made just for her, the dress hugged her curves beautifully.

Once the white-haired princess was standing in front of her she cupped her face "I do not completely disagree with you befriending lowlifes like them." she began "As long as they can properly defend themselves among danger and use talents like us, but if not then I suggest you cut ties with them." all Adeline was able to do was nod a response as tears slowly fell from her eyes in which turn her grandmother wiped away offering her a distraction from the annoying emotion (as she would put it) "I only want what's best for my...grandchildren." standing back up straight she offered Adeline a distraction "Walk with me." deflating her arm to create, a path that made their conversation mute to those who might dare eavesdrop.

Despite agreeing that she would avoid being friends with her two handmaidens, Adeline still found it hard to cope with, ditching the consequences her grandmother might plague her with. Telling herself that no one would catch her if she was cautious about it, "Princess," speaking of them Adeline's handmaidens bowed down their heads in respect as they placed down the huge platter of food only for her to eat "Thank you, and I'm sorry about my grandmother the other day." she apologized for someone who doesn't even give a damn ounce of respect for incompetent people, (as she would put it) just because of the fact that they did not choose to take up any talents nor train to protect themselves in state of any mortal danger, the two servants kept their heads low not meeting Adeline's gaze on the both of them "My grandmother doesn't understand.." she began "..how it feels to have no one like you, cause she's been loved all her life, while I was hated simply because my parents stole RHEA's balance--I don't care if your commoners, the both of you are the only peers that I ever had and I won't allow my grandmother to dismiss you like that anymore. So please don't shun me."

After that, Adeline and her two handmaidens became even closer than they previously have, even sneaking in late at night to the princess' quarters just to gossip about the kinou's they like, what's the latest fashion trend going around and etc. "It's a shame that there aren't any shows airing due to the war." her handmaiden named Ivy, spoke up whilst braiding Adeline's soft locks "Of course there isn't you dummy." the second handmaiden named Ari, whacked her on the nogging with a broomstick a bump appearing on her head while Adeline just giggled at their silliness erupting around her. Appreciating Ivy's work on her hair via looking at her vanity mirror running her fingers carefully down the braids "Keep that racket up and the guards outside will report to my grandmother." the white-haired princess teased hence the two guards standing outside her quarters are the two snitches a few months back.

"Not if Ari can whack them in the head first."

"Of course she will, and the bump on your head proves it all."

"Hey!"

The two girls laughed, but their fun was halted when a knock on the door came in ringing on their ears making the two handmaidens stand back up on their feet putting up the facade of simply being there to serve RHEA's princess "Come in!" Adeline voiced out, allowing the person outside to gain access upon entering her quarters "Your Highness." the close brunette friend of her younger brother came in bowing down to her after closing the door behind him, holding a package at hand "Your brother his Highness, Raios has bought this for you earlier as a gift, but alas he could not personally give it to due to his training this afternoon, hence the reason I am here as his representative." Dobengal watched the white-haired princess carefully pull the ribbon wrapped around the box, once removed, she opened the silk navy box to see a choker pearl necklace it made her eyes sparkle in delight upon seeing them--therefore she knew how much Raios hated Xeris due to their food but even he could not deny that they had the finest jewelry Cyhea could buy.

"He remembered," Adeline murmured to herself, completely smitten with the thought of her younger brother buying her a pearl necklace from Xeris with an annoyed look on his face due to obvious reasons but in reality it was Dobengal who remembered her wanting the said necklace, noticing her reaction Dobengal offered a suggestion to her "Want me to put on for you?" startled Adeline looked up from the jewelry to him shaking her hands "No, No, my handmaiden can do that for me--" she didn't get to finish her words as the brunette kinou swiftly stole the navy box from her lap taking out the pearl necklace, shoving the box to Ivy to hold on to whilst her put on the jewelry around Adeline's neck, who seemingly had a tint on her cheeks at the sudden gesture "Thank you," she spoke up still embarrassed by what the brunette just did while he just patted her shoulder as response as if it was nothing but to her--it was everything. Hence no kinou has ever done something like that for her and it was wrong ( of course it's according to the belief of her grandmother), why? because she's found of another commoner.

Dobengal Arius is the only child of Keres Arius, the king's head guard who is eager to have his son take his prestige once the old man retires from his tiresome yet well-paying job. The young brunette wasn't opposed to the idea anyway as it would be a win-win situation in his case, as being born as a commoner had its terrible setbacks when those in changer abuse their power over society, he'd gladly take his father's job rather than live at poor stake home where you can't secure your life--he'd give and do anything to live in luxury if that's what it takes, he wouldn't care to stomp on those who try getting in the way of his desire's. He'd gladly take someone's life no matter what the consequences might be in store for him in the afterlife he does not care. What Dobengal Arius wants, he must get it. And right now? he wants to secure his ego by becoming Adeline Milkovich's boy toy, in case you're wondering she's only a year older than both her younger brother and his best friend--Dobengal.

He'd use Raios' pockets if that's what it takes to get his elder sister to like him, while he was plotting his agenda walking down the palace's hallways, the two handmaidens squealed in delight for their friend finally getting solid attention from a kinou "Wow I never knew that your brother's friend had a thing for your Addy." Ivy teased the white-haired princess as she fidgetted with the skirt of her dress and prominent color on her spreading across her cheeks "Aww she's fond of us, commoners," Adeline finally looked up from her seat a jocular smile etching on her lips as to what Ari said was true she was fond of people out of her league "He just offered to put on my necklace, he doesn't like me that way and besides why would he even like someone like me?...everyone hates me." her smile was immediately replaced with a frown as she whispered the last part to herself but both her handmaidens heard it, making their way on to her side to comfort the low-spirited princess. "Would we still be friends with you if we didn't like you?" Ari side hugged the downcasted amazon whilst Ivy stood at her right "Don't ever say that no one appreciates you, Addy, they're just jealous 'cause you're pretty."

Today a banquet was going to be held for a victory in battle earlier this week hence one of the rebel's seven leaders had died due to self-sacrifice for her comrades, everyone who had close relations to the royal family was present in attendance inside the palace's ballroom hall. When Evergreen arrived alongside Hyacinth, Raios wasted no time in pursuing her despite the kinou she's married to is standing right there beside her, Dejah has confronted her son about the matter but he did not listen to her hence his grandmother's words we're like outright law so there was nothing his mother could do but watch as her teenaged son fancy his own aunt, Ren had no say in the matter. While the raven-haired prince was busy ogling incestuous thoughts, Adeline remained seated at their table not really wanting to socialize with any of the elites hence none of them paid her any good attention of mind anyway, so she'd rather stay in the dark than cause an unwanted scene hence her grandmother would be furious about it rather than defend her granddaughter's honor.

Ivy and Ari can't be with her as they're busy in the kitchen helping the other staff prepare the food that was going to be served tonight for the main course. Dobengal saw the opportunity to a great life and took advantage of it by approaching the desolated Amazonian princess "Is this seat taken?" he kindly asked not wanting to startle her away "Oh! H-Hi...No." a color immediately graced her cheeks upon seeing the brunette kinou "It's a party and Her Highness should have fun." Adeline started to fidget with the skirt of her dress in fear of socializing with people that refuse to acknowledge her, unable to come up with a solid reason for the brunette kinou sitting beside her "I'm just taking a break, I'll b-be out and about later." the stare he's giving her as she spoke out her reasoning made the butterflies in her gut cheer in glory.

"You're not a good liar you know."

"..."

"Did you like the necklace?"

"Pardon?"

"I said, did you like the necklace?"

"Y-yeah."

"I'm glad you do."

"Pardon?"

"I helped His Royal Highness, Raios, buy it for you."

"Oh...thank you."

"Come on," Dobengal suddenly stood up from his seat offering a hand to the white-haired princess,"..??" leaving her confused as to why he was doing such a gesture "I'm asking you to dance silly." via the nickname her eyes sparkled due to the fact that no one has ever called her such, it's always either Addy or Lane, "I'd rather not embarrass myself and besides I'm not that important anyway." her reaction towards a simple thing such as being noticed amused him "You won't and whoever told you that are complete fools, you're the princess of RHEA you're more valuable than any mineral." I'm valuable? the thought of being valued by someone not related to her made the white-haired princess' heart skip a beat, without hesitation, she took his hand.

The sight of Ren and Dejah's firstborn daughter dancing with a kinou astounded their guests as their expectations of her crumbled to dust hence it can only mean one thing now--she is now an eligible candidate for ascension to the throne. Their grandmother had an unreadable look upon it all, her influence to the young ravenette kinou had finally dug its roots beyond salvation as he felt this somewhat hatred towards his eldest sister accomplishing the deal struck by their father to RHEA's officials a few years ago, while he was still at the stepping stone of the race--he needed to act fast if he was to beat his sister and he will not waste this favorable time given out to the both of them he will win and if he doesn't then someone has to be discontinued from existence but a thought in his head told him to reconsider such things hence she did do a lot of things for him when their father almost mutilated him countless of time.

Although it took a few months and a lot of Raios' allowance, Dobengal and Adeline's little friendship eventually bloomed into something...that is undisclosed to basically everyone, hence after the banquet when people asked about it the both of them denied the allegations beings thrown around left and right here are the brunette's words about it when he was asked by none other than the royal family "I simply asked her to dance hence why not? It's a party, isn't it? what's the purpose of wasting such time to have fun and more importantly I am but a mere commoner who is not on par with Her Highness' stature." his words upon it all put their grandmother at ease? in a way, by knowing what his true intentions were just that and nothing more beyond it. When the news of it reached the Council they too were relieved of it as they've beat on Raios as their lives depended on it.

The exclusive devotion between them had Adeline become smitten that she'd started to wear her smile more often than she regularly would around the presence of Ivy and Ari, her two handmaidens. Melancholia was just about to roll around the corner meaning that it was about to become even more humid at Helium while the rest of RHEA will be feeling its freezing embrace at the first drop of snow "Addy, you should wear this for today." Ivy held out an ice blue crochet bralette and loose white trousers, while Ari handed the Amazonian princess a pair of sandals in the color beige to go out in as staying within the comforts of her room for today was going to be torture due to everyone being so busy for Melancholia's descent, so she decided to train instead rather than paint in her atelier.

Since no one was going to be around she invited her lover over for some company, who promptly sneaked up behind her once she arrived at the shooting range "I missed you." the brunette whispered to her whilst hugging her from behind his warm breath tickled her neck "Well no you don't have to." letting go for a second to make her face him, the white-haired princess raked her fingers up to his locks drenched in sweat from the heat outside, her top suggested a gracious thought in his system "Look at you, you're begging for someone to put you in your place." a playful smirk crept up whilst he's tracing circles on her lower back--mere inches away from her butt "And here I thought you're gonna help me in talents today." Adeline stopped playing with his hair upon noticing that he got a new piercing on his ear, her touch made him wince a bit upon contact "You look divine." compliments does wonders to people "I knew you'd like it." an evident ridge was becoming present and it made her giggle "After I'm doing practicing my skills then I'll allow it, kay?" her promise to the brunette kinou enticed him beyond repose. Little did they know that one of her grandmother's most trusted amazon was spying on them that day, as this information will be in great use one day.

Adeline's talent is called Bane Acrimony, a talent that specializes in poison, she uses them mostly as a projectile rather than a trap hence if you are aware that it is placed in a specific place you can avoid it, her poison works better when it is propelled to hunt down its target till its annihilated at least that's what her father had taught her, as she wasn't able to try out just yet on a real being therefore if she even dares to try and step out the rest of the rebellion would not hesitate to either hold her for ransom, kill her on sight, and torture her. Dobengal was the best one to help her in this case as their talents are quite similar when it comes to fielding, Haemokinetic is more commonly known for its simpler term Bio-Blood deals with manipulating blood with the mind, the more living beings surround you in combat the more powerful it can be harnessed. But if faced with a Luminescence talent user it will be proven to render you defeat.

After seven months of Melancholia descent upon RHEA's citizens, Adeline's figure became prominently curvy something that did not escape the suspicions of her grandmother to her mother--Grandine(Porlyusica) who wanted to personally ask Adeline about but decided against it hence if her sister found out about Adeline carrying a life in her without being in either an understanding or union, she would receive an immediate death sentence. The white-haired princess was well aware of the glances she getting here and there due to her pregnancy leaving her with no choice but to wear oversized clothing whenever she leaves the comforts of her chambers, as pregnant amazons hugely differ from what you might know mortal, instead of having a huge baby bump--amazon's become extremely fit and sexy once a child starts to grow inside their womb, making their beauty ethereal.

When Adeline told the fact to Dobengal, he was glad...glad that he could finally secure a life of luxury once she was crowned empress of RHEA and besides its a win-win situation, as Adeline at times for some reason thinks of herself to be downright hideous when she glaringly attractive, the elite kinou's that turned her down in the past was only intimidated by her family's social standing in society hence an understanding with her will lock you up in a life of solidarity confinement within the Danae Imelda's leader, the amazon whose words are the absolute rule, the amazon that bathes in the blood of those she killed, the amazon that has been influencing Raios' scape--Ren's mother.

"Thank you Dobengal."

"It's fine and besides, I may be an outsider to the arcane severing...but at least you got what you wanted in the end."
