Shinzo and his team started moving towards the Holy Mountain Toor. Shinzo didn't know what awaits him on the Holy Mountain.
Shinzo: "So, we gotta find this Toor Mountain and drink the water that flows their?"
Azrael: "Yes that is correct but it won't be that easy, I must say you should be ready to face anything."
Shinzo: "Those words of your's sounds suspicious."
Azrael: "Don't talk back to me it's for your own good."
Shinzo: *smug face*
Alice: "So... How far is that Mountain?"
Azrael: "We gotta cross a river and then through a forest to reach The Holy Mountain. I've heard stories about a wild hairy monster killing anyone that tries to enter that forest, So we should be careful."
Alice: "We'll try best to be careful."
Shinzo: "Y-Yeah..."
Azrael: "... I think somebody charged recklessly on an unknown enemy."
Shinzo: "That was to save Alice, if I hadn't stayed and fight it would have been dangerous for Alice."
Alice: "T-Thanks for saving me... *Blushes*" "But you've got to care about yourself as well."
Shinzo: "R-Right..."
Azrael: "Well all the matters aside, we've almost reached the river." "We've got to figure out how to get past this river, Since this place isn't protected by the Church so there ought to be no person here. So we can't find a boat to get past it."
So they finally reached the river and the next problem they face is that there isn't anything they can ride upon to get past this river.
Alice: "Why're we wasting our time here?" "We have to quickly find a way to get past this thing before sunset."
Shinzo: "Well that is true but I can't think about anything right now because I'm hungry."
Alice: "Jeez..."
Azrael: "There was a bridge to get past this river but that area is surrounded by Dark Souls now and there is big chance that we'll encounter an Espada there..."
Alice: "That's dangerous so it's out of the option."
Shinzo: "It's a big gamble but we have no other choice... we'll take that route."
Alice: "But Shinzo it's dangerous you can't just charge into dangers..."
Shinzo: "No matter what happens I'll always protect you Alice and I'll rather commit seppuku than go back on my words."
Azrael: "FUFUFU... Interesting." *whispers*
After that they moved towards the bridge sneakily and found out that there was nobody there.
Shinzo: "Phew... I was getting worried there." "Thank God there was no danger."
Alice: "Well that's good, I hope nothing happens afterwards as well."
Shinzo: "But I don't think things will remain the same..."
Alice: "Awwwn... Jeez"
They crossed the bridge safely and afterwards they started moving towards the forest. It was hell what they saw during there head out to The Holy Mountain. A lot of people's corpses and smell of the dead bodies left some awful images in both of them's heads.
Shinzo: "I promise I'll avenge those poor souls... I won't forgive that crappy Dark Lord or whatever he is... I swear he'll experience hell through my hands."
Finally they reached the forest and what was awaiting for them was something they didn't even imagine.
Shinzo and Alice were on their guards. After sometime Shinzo started getting a feeling that something is wrong and he was right. There wasn't a single monster. There were dozens of them and they were all furry half human and half boar. The feeling of powerlessness Shinzo could feel nearly made him fell into despair but he gathered up his courage by remembering that he promised he'd protect Alice. The main matter was that Azrael wasn't around because he said that he had something to do because he's a death angel and all.
Shinzo quickly took his sword out and charged on but they all had tough skin so it was hard to get through but he managed to cut them apart. After sometime he was able to kill all of them but it wasn't a single sided fight Shinzo got some terrible founds and after the battle he coughed blood.
Alice: "Shinzo... Are you alright?"
Shinzo: "Yh... I'm fine. Let's get going."
Alice: "But you're in terrible state."
Alice ripped of her jacket covered Shinzo's wounded areas.
Alice: "You can rest on my lap... You don't have feel embarrassed it's only until you get a little better."
Shinzo: "It's beautiful isn't it... The Sky."
Alice: "True indeed."
Night was approaching fast. What will Shinzo do now? In the next chapter 🙂
