Shen Fu had no idea that Xiaodie and the others had a "window" through which they could see outside. They all agreed to keep this a secret from him because they were worried it would make Shen Fu feel embarrassed and constrained in everything he did.
After all, who would want to live under constant surveillance, and by more than a dozen pairs of eyes at that? Even though Xiaodie and Ni Mo would shut off the window during paid content segments, that didn't stop them from sneaking peeks themselves.
So when Xiaodie replaced Bai Miaomiao, Shen Fu didn't panic at all. He had already prepared himself mentally, as if he had only been playing house with Miaomiao on the bed.
And Xiaodie, gracious as ever, didn't call him out, pretending it didn't hurt at all. She merely picked up the two tails Shen Fu hadn't managed to destroy as evidence from the bed, "Aren't these Tutu's?"
