The once silent sixth floor erupted into chaos with Chu Zixuan's statement.

Before they could agree on anything, the sound of high heels echoed from the staircase.
Ji Zhiwen and Cao Yongyi immediately quieted down and subtly stepped away from the door, retreating to the window.

The sound was now much closer.
Chu Zixuan was getting nervous, his right hand tightly gripping a knife while his left hand reached for a second hidden in his clothes.

The sound of the door handle being turned was heard.
Everyone inside held their breath, watching the door anxiously.
