The school year started in September, and I had to report to Luocheng University.
I'd been looking forward to it for so long, but when the day arrived, I found myself reluctant to leave. On the 8th of September, Xu Shi'an packed his backpack and paced around the house.
"I'm leaving now."
"Go ahead."
"I'm really leaving."
Xu Shi'an, the tall young man, slung his bag over his shoulder, pulled his suitcase, and rumbled out of the door. Riding the elevator down, he walked a distance before suddenly looking back up.
Jiang He was leaning out, watching him.
"Not even seeing me off? When I'm on break, I won't come back but go play with Xiaoxiao instead."
Mumbling to himself, Xu Shi'an saw Xu Qing waiting in her car, ready to pick up Xiaoxiao and the others.
He and Xu Jin's school start dates were just a day apart. Xu Jin was going further away, and her parents were taking her to the capital, so they wouldn't be able to go to Luocheng as well.
